If anybody knows anybody in Brampton, could you please inform them that there is a virus we call Covid that is causing a pandemic around the world. We may get back to normal but everybody has to wear a mask and stay 6 feet or 2 meters or a length equal to the height of a man away from each other. When you take your mask off at work to eat, please stay 6 feet away from your coworkers.
Please spread the word, it would be much appreciated.

People just don't get it, its a shame really. Those who are gonna do what they what to do will do, others will be wise and adhere to what we are told and pray for the best.

I stopped going to Brampton when Cannonball was shut down. To be fair many of the residents live in close quarters and work in jobs that don't allow distancing.

Question: Why do Brampton transit buses stop halfway up the block and not at the corner like normal buses?

I seem to recall this topic being discussed a few weeks ago. Or am I mistaken?
So, what is the answer? Was there a rational answer?

I called Brampton Transit and the "answer" was "it's policy". Anyway. my Brampton Cannonball days are over. Peel police use to park just outside CB looking for drunk drivers, which is actually a good thing. But, one time they caught my friend outside peeing against a tree because the CB washroom was a bio-hazard.

I generally avoid Brampton but had to go there a few times this year for business and a kijiji transaction and it never fails to see stupid people crowding everywhere and not respecting personal space in a public setting. And why is it that brown people feel wearing a mask like a chin strap with your mouth and nose exposed is sufficient? That and 4 families living together in a semi-detached house is why the positivity rate is 16% overall in Brampton and over 20% in some neighbourhoods.

To be fair, many immigrants don't have money so they pool the family money to buy a house and the grandparents become child carers. I come from a poor family and mom used to take in boarders so we could keep body and soul together.

Funny how people want to celebrate front line workers, enjoy their products delivered from warehouses , enjoy their drive through coffee and food, but dog out the city from which most of the workers live. The irony.

I hate this it's because Brampton is filled with front line workers excuse bullshit.
I have family that lives in Brampton, right in the thick of brown town, and I get the reports daily.
They don't listen, and don't think the rules apply to them.

My family's entire subdivision of neighbours constantly are having people from other households over.
They see others pack up the youngins and everybody in the car on Saturday nights and leave for the entire evening. Now where would they be going when all the grocery stores are closed?
They walk around in stores with no masks, or masks only half worn.
Grocery shopping requires the entire family of 13 to go. Including children, grand parents and cousins.
Nobody there socially distances themselves in Grocery stores or lineups to them.
Even the employees that work in essential businesses don't bother to properly distance themselves. The fucking kids in the grocery stores standing right beside each other talking directly into the other person's ear within an inch of their face. Mask or no mask, that's gonna cause a problem.

Stop trying to make excuses for bad behaviour. It is no coincidence that the second worst country for covid cases is India, and the second highest area in Canada for covid cases is pretty much all Indian.

Hey OP. I must commend you for having big balls and being so blunt. The lefties will get you for not toeing the party line.

What I noticed is when they show passengers departing and arriving at Pearson on TV news, there does seem to be a lot of the ethnic group you mentioned. Maybe that is why Brampton and Mississauga are so close to Pearson.

I don't think so. He's representative of how a lot of us feel around here.

I think it's the return flights.
International travelers need a COVID test to board flight and they get tested and quarantined when they land , I don’t think that is our main problem.
if u removed brampton, we would hardly turn into New Zealand
