Hogan is not on, it was thou...I bet our sensitive culture would have a problem with Hogan’s Heroes.
Soap starts next week at 3:30, year 1 and 2 was ridiculously funny...it's bye-bye to Family Ties which didn't seem to be as good as it was in the 80s.

You don't see Jack Benny and Mel Blanc performing the Cy, Si routine. Absolutely classic imho. I think most Mexicans would still laugh, or sue (si)...
Bob Denver and Alan Hale were always the ones that were under rated. How about Have Gun, Will Travel and the original Twilight Zone on that playlist?.
Soap was one of my all-time favorite sitcoms. I love the scene from season one where Jodie hides Bob in the refrigerator, and Chuck starts to 'jones'

If TCM is still able to air The Guns of Navarone, why can't CHCH air Hogan's Heroes? The Germans are nothing more than meat puppets in that film. TCM aired another European classic, Federico Fellini's tragicomedy La Strada. Anthony Quinn plays a thick headed circus strongman who can't comprehend how lucky he has it until it's too late. Giulietta Masina breaks hearts as the ill-fated Gelsomina with a close resemblance to Chaplin's Little Tramp. The film could not be made today, it showcases the wretched poverty that rural Italians endured post WW II.
Anthony Quinn was almost as fierce as Sergeant Schultz!

La Strada was Fellini's breakthrough film which also supercharged Anthony Quinn's career. He is a self-centered brute throughout, until the final eight minutes where he forced to confront the error of his ways - Quinn was exceptional.

They can, and have. They've run the whole series a couple of times now I think. Stay tuned and they'll probably show it again some time.
Odd Couple is done next week and is being replaced with Who's the Boss...there's a downgrade.

Next week the back to back episodes of Bewitched are gone and are being replaced with Gilligan's Island and The Flying Nun...CHCH needs to upgrade their daytime Retro programming.
