They should just close the elementary schools now then reopen in June. They can safely hold classes outdoors in the warm weather. Just do elementary school outdoors all summer long. It's not people can go anywhere for family vacations this summer.

Well in my humble opinion its the math equation the Gov't uses to determine "x" is safe or not safe.

Do you ever wonder why the covid tests range from 45k to 64k test per day for the last 12months?

That (based on a median of 50k tests) equals 18.5M test in 12 months. Chances are I should know at least 1 peron that has been tested. And I know zero people in my social and or professional circle that have been tested.

Apparently, the kids are catching the virus in the community and bringing it into the schools. I'm glad I'm not a teacher (although I use to mark exam papers years ago) or a Brampton bus driver or both.

0 kids have died with covid
0 cases have been traced to the schools (most school boards have tracing details listed on their respective school boards)

The only cases we have are from supply teachers (who go school to school) and things like janitorial and admin staff (most are part time)

So uh... what was the problem again?



BTW I think this is (obviously) an end run around teachers union to make virtual learning a thing

Well way more often than you do

I fail to see what 5 "cases" (as in asymptomatic go home & rest) has to do with serious hospitalizations or deaths (which as stated above both are still 0; only 2 deaths in entire province are even attributed to the age group less than 30, and 1 of those was the London suicide)

We both know you won't ever back up your rhetoric with anything resembling facts but go ahead surprise me

Is it really confusing why people regularly exposed to the public get tested more than people who work from home?
