One thing that made Get Smart so good besides the excellent casting was the writing. Buck Henry and Mel Brooks created and wrote the show.

FYI-they just played the “parental advisory” before today’s episode of Green Acres...
It was the mention of 'wetbacks', a slur that they've said in other episodes. A couple of times it was edited out, leaving you wondering what they're saying sometimes.
I heard over the weekend that CHCH has been bought by Moses Znaimer and is to be rebranded Zoomer TV.
They've moved to a new location and going with an all new format. Big changes coming.

The paparazzi got into an accident attempting to pursue James Garner. Dumb move, when it came to driving Steve McQueen was Jimmy's only peer.
Garner did his own driving in "Grand Prix", all the pro drivers involved in filming were very impressed by him.
I wondered why the theme to The Rockford Files appeared on The Sopranos, David Chase wrote 20 episodes for Garner's series.
Searched as well, all I found was Zoomer Inc. replacing their CFO. At this point in his life Zneimer doesn't need another station. And CHCH is a proudly independent Hamilton station.
Shuffling around the schedule next week and the result is Brady Bunch is back and see ya to Flying Nun...some weak programming for sure.
