That was easy...lots of scandals for everybody.
I don't give a shit about Cuomo's alleged sexual crimes- I made that more than clear in many posts because those are only selectively pursued depending on the party affiliation. The fact that the Dems are trying to dump Cuomo over this is a dead giveaway that something else is being ignored. That something else are thousands of seniors Cuomo's policies killed. Sexual harassment of the garden variety is not the same as manslaughter of thousands.That was easy...lots of scandals for everybody.
Well, what do you have right now, but untested accusations? I'm perfectly happy to laugh at his hypocrisy (all women should be believed), but I will not hang a man or even relive him of his job because of mere accusations.
Sounds like he'll have his inquiry. And I'm the last person to believe untested accusations - least of all of sexual harassment and least of all when they are levelled against rich or well known men.
But the number of accusers is rising. At this point, he's either guilty, or some or all of his accusers are jumping on the bandwagon for a payoff. And he's already admitted some of the allegations, which makes those specific women appear credible. It could be that the last and most serious accuser is a liar. We'll see. But it ain't looking good.
Inappropriate-yes, creepy-yes, criminal-no...I don't think he's done enough to be impeached or resign.

I thought there was no chance he would resign or be impeached, but it looks like the sharks are circling. He may still brazen it out to 2022, but I am almost certain he doesn't get another term and I'm a lot less certain he even makes that now.

This is just smoke for the real crime which was his directive to put covid positive patients back in nursing home care instead of in the temporary hospitals that FEMA and the US military supplied. Then directing his staff and agencies to cover up the amount of deaths in nursing homes. Could very well be the worst actions of a governor in the history of the United States. Because there is a group of media and pundits who have always fantasized about these kinds of people as a third party/unity ticket that will just be parachuted in.
They thought the same thing about Bloomberg and Schultz. Of course, no one actually wants these people, but there are always suckers who think that "the media like you" is the only thing you need.
They didn't miss anything, they made an editorial decision not to cover it. Just like they refused to cover his handling of the covid outbreak, even though his policy that killed thousands of seniors was a well known fact back in spring and widely reported by Fox and other "right wing media". I have a funny feeling that if Biden decides to fight the 25th, they will bring back the sexual assault allegations against him and a promise of Hunter's head on a silver platter.
Cuomo will be re-elected in a landslide in 2022. "Investigations" into democrats are basically a place where things get buried ( See also "investigations against Hunter and Jim Biden" you'll hear in a few years that that investigation was quietly closed soon after Joe took office).
