These are deluded stupid people. They've been brainwashed into thinking horrible things about their political opponents. That happened in a place like Rwanda, and I fear it could happen there. On top of it all, the QAnon morons are actually hurting organizations that are legitimately trying to stop child sex trafficking and pedophiles...

The modern meaning of "Beware the Ides of March" is not so much about a particular date but it is about political intrigue. (I think it probably meant the same in historical times as well.) It's worthwhile to watch the movie by the same title starring George Clooney.

It's been a long time since I took Shakespeare, so I had to look it up again to be sure. The warning from the soothsayer that Caesar's life was in danger actually covered a 30 day period ending on March 15th (so that would also include March 4th).

In the movie "Ides of March", the phase is used as a metaphor for political intrigue/drama.
