And cap it off with a rout. 5 out of 6 points is good in any three game series.
3 goals in 15 games prior to tonight. 7 of those 16 points came on pp.

Only 18 players in the entire league have more than 16 points and 2 of them play for Toronto.
Those 7 points still count though, right?
Assists must have some value, no?

Is the Leafs improved play due to better ice, they're not sharing the arena with the Raptors. The games I've watched on home ice look much faster than they did in the past.

I think they have more jump in their step, there's a good energy, they seem to be tightening up as a group, more life on the beach.
I also think Keefe's systems are playing to their strengths, they're aggressive on the forecheck, better structure on defense.
I think they've bought in, they want to play for Keefe. Babcock cast a long shadow over the guys.
....well, that would be a good thing.
If the Maple Leafs are playing any of Boston, Tampa or Vegas,
that means they've made the Stanley Cup semi-finals.
Matthews is now tied with Gary Leeman with 176 alltime Leaf goals. Leeman scored 50 goals in a season. Matthews would have if it weren't for the pandemic.
Yes, but will Matthews sleep with Rielly's wife/girlfriend?
I know most people on here are Leafs fans but do you guys really think that Marner is a better player then McDavid. I actually like Matthews more then Marner but think all three are great players. Last thing I have been incredibly impressed with the play of the Leafs this year.
