Trump did NOTHING when it came to vaccinations. The Biden administration basically said they came into work on the 20th and found nothing planned. Hell, even the development of the vaccine had little US input. Trump made COVID political, which likely made the death toll worse than it should have been.

Trudeau is far from perfect, and I don't really know (sadly) if his vaccine rollout plan will work. I'm praying it does.

But really, Trump is the worst. He will be marked as the worst president for a number of reasons. He was on track to be one of the worst until the Big Lie and the insurrection. He will not be fondly remembered (unless the GOP successfully stages a MAGA takeover of the government and kills democracy). Hell, even then they'd probably turn on his memory....

Operation Warp Speed did help. Some research got funded and the promise of "if you deliver, we will buy in bulk" was an incentive for pharma companies to put more resources into it because it had a guaranteed payout if they succeeded. That the distribution part was a shit show is a mark against it. But that the US had the money to dangle a big prize and did so helped speed the development process along. Credit for that is fair.

Really? Aside from the catchy "operation warp speed" designation, Trump's people contributed nothing. On the contrary, Trump attacked science time and again and de-funded WHO. He deliberately disregarded earlier warnings about Covid 19 than anyone else in the country had. He was willing to put many people at great risk to increase his prospects politically.
