Let's do some math.
Closing in on 500,000 deaths. 330M lose an average of one year of life=330M man years lost. That means the average years lost per covid death is 667.
I know a lot of the righties/amigos hate me because of my stance on this topic but I also always claim to look at things objectively and not always be beholden to which side of the political spectrum I relate to. Unless my math is wrong or I am missing some incredibly large factor, these numbers do not make sense. Gotta call it like I see it.
Maybe they are guesstimating how many years of life will be lost by people who got covid and survived but the toll to the body will be seen later on. But it cannot possible be based on the 500,000 that have actually died.
