What are your celebrity run ins/sightings?

me: Walked out of my building and there was Sylvester Stallone filming a scene, he's short, 5'9" at most
Walked out of my building and there was Tony Shalhoub and Bitty Schram (the crying female baseball player in A League of Our Own), they were filming an episode of "Monk", the 1st season was shot in Toronto.
Walking through the Eaton Centre and Rosie O'Donnell walks right past me, munching on a snack, lol
Walked past Joe Flaherty in a stairwell of Milwaukees bar/eatery near Second City.
Walked past Ryan Gosling in Eaton Center, chicks were going gaga over him.
Walked past Kristen Kreuk on yonge st, very pretty.
Almost walked into Eugene Levy on Yonge, he was filming an SCTV skit, parody of Midnight Cowboy, lol, he was dressed as Dustin Hoffman's character "Ratso" in Midnight Cowboy :

Leaving my building and there in the vestibule was Loyd Bridges filming a movie
Was walking through a restaurant and there was Sydney Poitier and Phylicia Rashad and friends dining.
Was having lunch at Myers deli in Yorkville when sitting at table across from me was Paul Young and his band, a chick was going gaga over him.
Joined a lineup at a cashier at a drug store and there was Tim Meadows in front of me.
Walking through a hotel lobby when Josee Chouinard walked past me, she made eye contact with me , what a little hottie/spinner.
Zedano Chara sat a few seats over from me at a movie, he's a monster.
walked into an elevator and there was Luis Guzman and G.W. Bailey (the sgt. from Police Academy who had it in for Mahoney)

At work: John Byner , my colleagues and I told him were big fans of his show, he had a big smile on his face, real nice guy.
John Candy, genuine, super friendly guy
William Sanders from "Newhart" in full "Hi, I'm Larry, this is my brother, Darryl and my other brother Darryl" outfit
Betty Thomas from Hill St Blues, she's an amazon
Ekaterina Gordeeva , pairs figure skating world and olympics champion, cute little spinner!

Back in 1986 I was on the same plane with Van Halen. Going from Toronto to Montreal.
Other than that if I did come across a celeb I didn't know it.

I saw Brandon Fraser walking on st Catherine Street in Montreal 15 years ago, he was alone and looked out of it. This was back when he was fairly popular. Pretty tall guy.

I also saw the tall, younger just for laughs guy at a bar. He didn't speak a lick of English and was pretty unimpressed I recognized him. That's all I got.

Rachel McAdams was on her bike while we waiting for the light to turn green. The guy behind me honked, but I didn't care. I had to watch her bike forward with those bicycle shorts. I sat four seats away from Owen hart on a flight to Montreal.

I worked at a hotel and met Burton Cummings, Alice Cooper, Dan Severn, Julie Andrews, and the late Christopher Plummer....also the entire Washington Capitals hockey team.

I’m not a big “goo goo ga ga” guy when it comes to celebrities and they aren’t too interested in being fan worshipped when they are off the clock...but...Christopher Plummer was very pleasant, Burton Cummings was a with a girl about half his age and he asked me a few questions about the city and was very cordial about it...Daynus Zubrus of the Washington Capitals was a prick to a few of us for no reason...

Went to a State dinner with Kofi Annan in Accra Ghana, he just finished his term as S/G of the UN and the people we were staying with were high up in the Government so we tagged along
Very down to earth
Was at a dinner party with Stephen Lewis, he asked the S/O to attend cus she was heavily involved with his Aids in Africa Initiative...
wicked sense of humour and a no BS kinda guy...we talked about him ripping the UN Ambassadors a new one over their lack of funding for his cause and he told us some stories about Ambassadors coming to him later sayin basically it wasnt cool to talk to them that way.
Apparently he just said too bad..LOL

While living in Scottsdale, Arizona, i was working as a sous chef for a restaurant, Jenna Jameson was a frequent customer. Also those that i bumped into Jack Nicklaus (during the Waste Management Open, before it was known as that) Kiefer Sutherland was hanging out at the bar late one night, invited all the staff to go back to his room at the Scottsdale Princess, fun night ( iI think one of the waitresses had an even better one), David Spade, he's really short

In 1971 I was stationed in Dong Hoi back in 'nam. My last of three tours. It wasn't until nearly a decade later I learned I almost came close to serving with a man I knew from Wilmington Delaware- a pool predominantly colored kids swam at in those days specifically is where I knew him from.

He was 6 feet tall and had an athlete’s build. He played football in high school and was active in sports throughout college. He spent one summer as a lifeguard at the local pool for predominantly colored folk were we meet, like I said. It was the summer of 1962 if I recall correctly.

But after he graduated college in the spring of 1968 and became eligible for the draft and —possibly — combat duty in Vietnam, he received a diagnosis that let him avoid military service. No, not bone spurs. Asthma. And his name was Joe Biden.

The name written on my M1 helmet back in the jungle- was Corn Pop.

If it hasn't been said before " Thank you for your service"

Myself and some friends were out our motorcycles and stopped at the Paisley in Nappanee for lunch and met Dan Aykroyd, when we said we were heading back to Kingston he asked if he could ride with us.
He had a two tone Harley, white and black with the Blues Brother faces airbrushed on the top of the tank.
Two years later while driving cab I picked him and Bill Murray up at a downtown bar and drove them to Dan's place up by Sydenham.
After a couple of minutes he asked if I rode and then before i could reply said "I rode to Kingston with you and your friends a while back"
He mentioned Bill was there to do some reading for a comedy movie they were in and they started to discuss how Bill would play the part that was originally written for John Belushi.
I thought it was going to be a hospital type comedy since Bill was to play a doctor but later realized it was The Ghostbusters movie.

Russell Crowe at Park Hyatt- an asshole. 50¢, Alannah Miles- rude. Had a couple of beers with Tony Lasorda in Florida- I don't know if that's a celebrity. Shook the sweaty hand of President Clinton at a camping stop- gross, but my girlfriend had an orgasm, I think. Spent 10 minutes with George Forman- nicest guy in the world. And the ATF- Don Cherry-respect, class and friendliest man under the sun.
