he had information easily available if he had the materials and or equipment that's different but they just say he had manuals

the us military made/makes manuals on everything fitness, carpentry, welding ,shooting you name it there's a manual some are actually useful IE map reading and navigation first aid ect as are the service manuals if you have the same equipment and vehicles

Who tf has a manual on bomb-making lying around on the coffee table?! Do you?!

And many of those materials can be purchased. If you know the basics, it appears easy to make a bomb. If a crazy like the Nashville Suicide Van Bomber can make a huge mega bomb, then it ain't difficult.

I didn't comment on his intentions I said the manuals are available for everything the us military has and does

he was in the marines which means he already has basic explosives knowledge maybe more depending on his exact duties. through unlikely the materials found may have been issued to him

for instance in my case "military manuals generator" which includes many small engines

google comes up with About 3,850,000 results

that also includes many small engine manuals which power the gensets
