Wrong again...we were talking Youth Detention Centres not community group homes...orientation for the offenders does not include giving them a manual.

I’m a betting man and think their charges won’t stick to the 17 year old, and the 19 year old will get manslaughter.

The 17 year old is just charged to ensure that the 19 year old doesn't defend by saying the 17 year old was the driver.

The 19 year old cuts a deal to manslaughter or criminal negligence causing death. No way his lawyer should let him go to trial on this.

It seems an all round tragedy. Two underaged kids, probably either drunk or high. They panic and try to act tough when a cop predictably pulls them over. The cop is dragged to his death. The 19 year old gets sentenced as an adult and gets several years in jail.

The original poster just started this thread because the kids were Muslim and tried to make it seem as if this was a jihadi terrorist act. He then altered his post - or the mods edited it for him. This is a sad fucking thread. It should never have been started and I have no idea why so many guys bothered posting here.

Pretty standard to deny bail for a murder accused. Add in that the teen probably has dual citizenship.
