I see that it just started today on Prime. IIRC after the Sonny Liston fight Ali, Malcom X and Sam Cooke spent an evening together.

They actually did meet, but I think the details are sketchy. Will try to watch it after the Bills game.

'' One Night in Miami... is a 2020 American drama film about a fictionalized meeting of Malcolm X, Muhammad Ali, Jim Brown, and Sam Cooke in a room at the Hampton House in February 1964, celebrating Ali's surprise title win over Sonny Liston. It is the first feature directed by Regina King, from a screenplay by Kemp Powers based on his stage play of the same name. It stars Kingsley Ben-Adir, Eli Goree, Aldis Hodge and Leslie Odom Jr. in the lead roles, with Joaquina Kalukango, Nicolette Robinson, Beau Bridges and Lance Reddick in supporting roles. ''

As I implied mentioning the uncertainty of the details. But there was a meeting.

Were there 4 of them or Jim Brown instead of one of the ones I mentioned? What a group of icons.

All four icons were there. After Clay’s win, they gathered together to have a philosophical and cultural debate.

The play and then film adaptation is a fictionalized account of the exact conversation, but we know shortly after that Clay publicly renounced his ‘slave name’ and legally changed it to Muhammad Ali; Malcolm X left the Nation of Islam and did the Hajj pilgrimage.

That meeting was definitely a significant and transformational meeting for the four friends which changed the course of their lives.
