Did I get COVID from seeing an SP?

I started having sore throat and chills a couple of days before Christmas. As it did not get better in the following days, I decided to get a COVID test on Boxing day. After agonizing it for two days, my positive COVID test result back yesterday.

I live alone and have been working from home since the pandemic started. Other than going to the grocery store and the a few drive thrus, my only close personal interaction during the last 2 weeks was the encounter with an agency girl on the Saturday before I got sick. I am debating whether I should contact the agency. From their schedule, I also noticed the girl is not working this week. Could she also be sick?

Yes you should advise the agency that you tested positive and the timing. Exactly as your post states. No accusations etc.

This way they have the opportunity to make whatever decision to advise whomever they feel they want to.

Yes - you need to contact the agency and if the girl is off sick because she has COVID, she should be telling the agency and the agency should be contacting all the people the SP came in contact with.

and i am sure everyone knows, the tests mean shit.. i know 2 people personally that went for the test.. signed up on line for appointment,
went to the site, 2hr wait, naaa. they leave with out the test. 3 days later get a letter in the mail they tested positive...
