Of course you would question anything coming from China. Your knee jerk reaction is to treat it with skepticism and derision. You choose to demonize the Chinese, for whatever reasons.
I agreed with you until your last statement. Yes I have huge issues with the Chinese government and automatically carry a bias and skepticisms. I don’t have an issue with Chinese people, especially the westernized Chinese people. I am good friends with a few Chinese people whom I know to have been negatively affected by the Chinese government. I interact with Chinese people every day and I really like their work ethics and some of them make/are good friends.

This space exploration story seems very complicated and political. I remain skeptical of the Chinese government intentions. This is exciting for space exploration because of competition and will push for advancements. In terms of giving them credit and what is the actual truth will be revealed with time. There is a lot of speculation ATM pertaining to this story. More research and digging deeper is needed to reveal the truth.

Yeah. "Some of my best friends are black"
Why would your views about the government represent your views on the people?
Why even bring race into when its not about race but politics and government. Where did I demonize the chinese people? I do say that the Chinese government is corrupt, doesn’t care about the environment and disregards and violates human rights. If you are going to keep accusing then prove where I put down chinese people or STFU! Stop licking the balls of the corrupt Chinese government and giving them credit for technological things already accomplished. Ask any of your chinese friends what they actually think of the chinese government. Then ask them why are you here? Why did you leave China? If they are your true friend they will tell you the truth.

I did not bring race into the discussion, you did.
I don't know you, never met you.
You could have been Taiwanese, who think they are the only "True China"
You could have been Japanese, who are scared shitless of a rising China's bloodlust for revenge.
All you're saying is I should go back to where I came from.

Show me where I said this? If you want my opinion I am saying stay and help make Canada better and fuck the rest of the world. Why would I want you to go back China if you are Canadian? I didn’t even know you were Chinese until this exchange. I don’t even know if you are Canadian. If you like the Chinese government that is your right and your opinion. Based on my limited knowledge I don’t like the chinese government. If you are a visitor then enjoy Canada and lets not get into politics and try and make this a positive experience for you. I am allowed to have an opinion as well and not like the Chinese government.

How does this mean I want you to go back to China? This means tell me why you left China and decided to come to Canada? Nothing in that quote is telling you to go back. Its taken out of context. The intention here is to have a Chinese Canadian tell why they left China and what is their opinion of the government.

So then tell me, why did you leave China to come to canada? What is your opinion on the Chinese government? The friends I asked said they didn’t like the politics and wanted a better life here.

I left Bosnia because of the war and the fact that my family hated their politics. I consider myself Canadian now even though I wasn’t born here. I still don’t like the Bosnian government but have most of my family still living there.

My opinion is self-evident.
You have the right to your opinion and I have the right to challenge it.
You imply that I left China and therefore am a foreigner. I never said I left China.

The Moon is not someone's private property, they have all rights to send rovers there as well as the US does.

Interesting... So you're saying that no-one has territorial claims to any planetary surface based on the ridiculous grounds that they were there first?... First Nations are SOL.

China (and the rest of the world for that matter) is wayyy behind the USA in technology.

China didn’t even launch their first Austronaut into orbit until relatively recently lol

Don’t fret, let China have their 15 mins of fame. This is not a space race. More like a snail (China) vs challenger hellcat (US military technology)
You are kidding, right?

For the last 15 years USA have had to rely on Russian spacecrafts to get to the International space station. Only recently have USA been able to get there on their own.

The way to keep China forever backwards is to keep out the thousands of grad students they send to the States.

'cause China has no universities, and American scientists do not publish their research.

You really are not very informed.

If their universities are so great, why do they send their best students to the States? Duh.

To piss you off.
There are 18 million university students in China, of which 500,000 are foreign students.

While in North America University education is in low regard. Maybe there is a reason China is leaving the west in the dust.
