TTC remains operational (despite busses being packed), big box stores remain open, grocery stores remain open, LCBO open (while weed stores are closed), kids go to school while we are supposedly fighting one of the worst pandemics ever. In light of this nonesense I wouldn't mind if escort agencies requalified themselves as essential service providers similar to TTC, LCBO and grocery stores.

Just a question.

Why do people need gyms?

You can just do push-ups and sit-ups at home, then pace back and forth.

I have a bad habit of pacing, some people say I'm crazy. But I get my exercise, if anything I'm losing weight ... and I'm below 110 pounds.

How tall are you and what are your measurements?
Pictures would be helpful! :ROFLMAO:

Unfortunately fear usually blocks proper judgement.
Truth is. Healthcare rules the Gov't. If have an operation scheduled and you are not able to have that particular operation performed because the hospital is full etc. The Govt will be liable.

Superficial lockdown. All done to satisfy the lockdown supporters with very little impact to the economy
Not surprising from Ford. It's pretty easy to see workplaces, public transit, and schools are high risk areas yet Ford thinks people getting haircuts are the real problem.

The problem with shutting down schools is if they do that they would have to shutdown every business as children's parents need to take care of them. Most of the people who are complaining about the current shutdowns would be complaining if Ford did that.
Public transit if it's shutdown how are people going to get to work that are in essential jobs which many are in lower income categories, it's impossible again if public transit shuts down everythin

Does anyone find it weird that schools are not locked down?
I understand the reasons they're still open. Based on the science, people under the age of 10 aren't commonly spreaders and there are plenty of people who would have to make the choice of going to work or caring for their kids if people were at home. That same data says kids 10+ spread the virus the same as adults so it makes no sense to me to keep high schools open. Of course we don't have real data about teens as no one has funded a study involving widespread testing in schools and comparing it to the community rates. There was one study I saw that had teens with a higher antibody rate than the surrounding community but others challenge the methodology.

...

We're abiding by the commandments of our political Gods and we're STILL getting hammered.
I know you guys don't like analyzing data but the growth rate in this second wave has been much slower than the first wave. Likely the only reason why the first wave was stopped was the 'lockdown' that was implemented in the spring. Sadly there is no political will now to do what should be done.

That's why we should be hitting a 2 week circuit-breaker lockdown instead of this window dressing. Either that or the government just accepts the deaths.

In the same situation. Last time they did the 28 days to Peel, I just went to Oakville for the gym... and dining... and shopping.

This is now the 3rd lockdown for Peel. The months long one in March, the 28day in October, and neither of those worked.
Numbers spiked huge after summer, when kids when back to school.

So why does the Government not leave everything open, and give the kids an extended holiday from Dec1st to mid Jan 2021?
Thank you so much. All summer out numbers were in the 100’s. They kept claiming “the backyard parties “ Well; if you are gonna party; it’s gonna be in the summer. Take a look at the how the numbers spiked after the kids went back to school? It’s all in black and white. I work in a school; and I can tell you. No fuken way is it as safe as they are saying. Numbers don’t lie. This is all political bullshit and people need to stand up to this horse shit

During the spring I lost about 10 pounds and had no problem putting together a varied routine. I feel a bit bad for the people who push real weights but for most people there are adaptations we can make.

What happens if Toronto and Peel residents decides to drive to the nearest town?
You know this will happen. This is just a mess, imagine if ONLY everyone listened.
