Maybe exaggerating how well they are doing but not lying, otherwise they would have been exposed by now.
Because China is so supportive of whistleblowers?

BTW. There are actually a bunch of countries that have been doing well. Vietnam has had only 35 deaths. New Zealand has had only 25 deaths (but they did just have a massive spike of 3 new cases). Both countries did so by instituting serious lockdowns that made our restrictions look like nothing.

Seriously you have never traveled to Asia

Vietnamese medicine is the biggest joke on the planet
They self medicate and prescribe such quackery I doubt there is any relevance to any "medical data" being reported out there

The hospital situation is worse than 1960s Russia; most guides strongly advise airlifting to more modern facilities in places such as Thailand if you ever get sick

Health-care service standards are below what you might expect in Canada. Both medical facilities and supplies are limited outside of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Serious medical problems may require evacuation.

Canadian travellers should have adequate travel insurance that includes coverage for medical evacuation and hospital stays.

As opposed to someone who denies there is a virus causing death and vascular damage?

The CDC document is titled, “CDC 2019-Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) Real-Time RT-PCR Diagnostic Panel.” It is dated July 13, 2020.

Buried deep in the document, on page 39, in a section titled, “Performance Characteristics,” we have this: “Since no quantified virus isolates of the 2019-nCoV are currently available, assays [diagnostic tests] designed for detection of the 2019-nCoV RNA were tested with characterized stocks of in vitro transcribed full length RNA…”

The key phrase there is: “Since no quantified virus isolates of the 2019-nCoV are currently available…”

Every object that exists can be quantified, which is to say, measured. The use of the term “quantified” in that phrase means: the CDC has no measurable amount of the virus, because it is unavailable. THE CDC HAS NO VIRUS.

A further tip-off is the use of the word ‘isolates.” This means NO ISOLATED VIRUS IS AVAILABLE.

Another way to put it: NO ONE HAS AN ISOLATED SPECIMEN OF THE COVID-19 VIRUS.

NO ONE HAS ISOLATED THE COVID-19 VIRUS.

THEREFORE, NO ONE HAS PROVED THAT IT EXISTS.

Regardless of what and who you believe, it's pretty obvious that if we all stayed in our homes for 2 or 3 weeks, the virus would not be able to transmit outside of our house holds. All we need is a government with the balls to enforce it.

Oblivion
Betting China is lying.....
That country is a totalitarian police state that does not allow its masses to view anything other than the state controlled internet. Disent is met with disappearance and even death. If the PRC was more honest and transparent then the world would not be in this current shit storm with no end in sight.

Locally, a lockdown looms with the politicians trying to suck and blow at the same time whatever happens to be the flavour of the month.

This is nonsense

The general public DID stay in their homes back in March - April when majority believed in the Covid boogeyman

Considering the virus only sheds for 10 days staying home for 2 weeks should have been more than sufficient

Except people didn't. They went out to house parties, didn't quarantine coming home, or when they arrived in, booze cans opened, families mingled. Weddings happened, churches were defiant.

I personally either witnessed it, or was told about it. A friends employer and wife arrived from Florida, and went to the workplace. Another friend I cut off contact who was attending parties organized by his bar crowd. Public parks were filled with groups.

When we hit 6000 cases a day and the hospitals are overwhelmed maybe you will get it.

Again this is nonsense

I made multiple posts back in March (you can search) about how streets were deserted and hospital parking lots were empty

There was noone working in March as entire system (incl school) was lockdown
I agree leaving certain businesses (esp LCBO and weed shops) open as "essential" was obvious kowtowing to $$$$ but even without them some people would have broken rules

As for "getting it" I think the fact that Covid has run its course DESPITE stupid lock downs and fools wearing masks pretty much proves majority of them were clueless from day 1

This is hardly plague level but it appears vast majority of population are going to be exposed to it and need to put their big boy pants on and deal with it

No it's not. Where do you live, the North Pole? In my neighborhood, in Markham, all the grocery stores were full, and lots of people walking around and gathering at parks. They called it a lock down but it was nothing near it.

All the healthcare workers were still working, PSWs working at multiple LTCs transmitting COVID to patients. They were essential workers, though.

A true lockdown has not been imposed on Ontario. But if cases exceed 6000/day, it may happen.

Well I saw 4 diff hospitals (2 of which I went inside during the spring) and they were ghost towns
So I had quite the range out west here

The comment about parks is nonsense
They gave tickets for people even walking through parks
Brampton in particular was militant about it

Where do you live? Grocery stores have always been busy. The bye law officers and police were overwhelmed with calls to investigate violations of social distancing. I know because I called both, several times. And this is in an area where people are generally well behaved and compliant, where the cases have been lower, York Region. I'm sure that there were way more violations in Peel Region and Toronto. They may have given tickets to offenders at Cherry Beach or Trinity Bellwood Park, but there are hundreds of parks all over GTA. So, again, where do you live, in a cave or under a rock?

There were no parties or any gatherings for months. The streets were barren. Toronto and all cities around it looked like ghost towns.

No. Everyone was afraid and the streets were empty. Don't confuse the GTA with America.
I'm not. As I said booze cans continued. And house parties happened. I know. I cut off a friend who invited me. And we have stupid people in Canada too.

But they quickly responded to covid by implementing a lockdown far more serious and longer than we did. They got results from it.

Are you trying to say Vietnam with 35 deaths is doing a bad job?
