A complete lockdown is impossible
It violates your rights and is unenforceable
Writing a ticket does not mean a judge will convict (they are public record, go look for a conviction)
Its no diff than when an internet company sends you a million dollar claim for downloading a movie
Never goes to court for fear judge will laugh it out
Nonsense, only provincial offences have been delayed to Jan 2021 (traffic tickets etc)
Not only are courts OPEN but even red zones such as Brampton are actively polling JURY DUTY as of Nov 15th (yeah figure that one out; not allowed to sit in a restaurant for fear of covid but a week to month long trial in a musty old court room - they even found mold last month - is a-ok)

Yeah, I have a solution. Add 3 more busses between 4-6 and 7-9 on routes experiencing overcrowding and tell the drivers to enforce social distancing and the capacity limits. One memo from the management should have taken care of this back in April. You can park some empty street cars to balance the books and reduce service intervals in the off peak hours. We, the deplorables in the private sector, practice resource redirection every single day.
Ontario new system is very similar to Boris Johnson which was a total falure. GTA will be in lockdown within a month. Canada is behind UK by about 1 month., Why our government leaders are following the other countries failed protocols ? At least in UK they can test the whole city like Liverpool. Ontario is struggling to do 50K per day. At least one month shutdown to start with.

There is renewed activity at CFB Downsview, they are not going to shoot anybody to death, but maybe they are setting up a military hospital should the local hospitals start to experience bed shortages. Civil unrest is unlikely enough to employ the military though as the PM would have to declare a state of emergency with the potential for local LE to be overwhelmed.
