Takeaways - 1). No way I EVER believe a US poll after this cock-up! This was NOT how this election was predicted to turn out.
2). The renegade anti Trump republicans like Romney and the Lincoln Project vastly over-rated how dead Trump was and they themselves are fucked. Dems won without them. GOP hates them as traitors.

From what I’m seeing the Latino and Black vote percentages increased for Trump. If the Republicans run a “Paleocon” candidate with similar policies on Immigration and Trade as Trump but one that hasn’t used the type of polarizing rhetoric that Trump has will those percentages increase?

For too long the choice between a Corporate Dem or a NeoCon Republican hasn’t been much of a choice at all

The Lincoln Project has been nothing but a grift from NeoCons that had no access to money/power since Jeb! had his ass handed to him

If Trump delivered a death blow to NeoCons(doubtful) that might be the best thing he did

The big takeaway is that there are two Americas and never shall they meet.

CBC interviewed a few Trump supporters at random and they sound like so many on this board, they think Biden senile and corrupt, Trump honest and doing good.
It can only happen because Americans can exist in entirely separate media/social media worlds, where in the Trump world criticism of him will never enter and in the Dems world they still posit that Americans are reasonable and the system works.

Trump and the GOP will fight the results and it will get ugly, Biden will win but may have that result stolen from him.
The only winner will be butler and his accelerationists.

They always were grifters looking to get back to the trough. Their "Patriotism " ended at Sanders and Warren.

With Trump gone you many actually see better polling. The "shy" Trump voter will be less of a factor.

But if another right wing populist rises for 2024 with actual ability......

He couldn't even get that right, they filed a lawsuit to halt vote count in Michigan... but only after he went down.
Instead of throwing out the lawsuit the court should accept it just so we could see their reaction; Okay... we accept your concession of the state :LOL:

It will take a bit to clear this up but unless there is some serious counting irregularities somewhere Biden will squeak it out. With a reduced House and Opposition Senate. Get ready for a sudden need of Deficit Hawkery that Biden may capitulate to.

One hates to look at the Midterms but they are suddenly looming larger.

This is a wild election, ups and downs, back and forth. It is quite a thrilling ride as an outside observer. Must be stomach wrenching for those who live in the US.
