Not as long as the 7 months ago that Fauci and the research changed their tune and trump was still downplaying it even at the debate. One approach was reasonable and one was denying science for 7 months. The only reason trump agreed with him was not because he wanted to follow science, but because he was against masks all along. If science said right away to wear masks he would have disagreed with them then.
