I decided to go to the Eaton's centre on the weekend haven't been in years. Shopping get something to eat few drinks.

I usually only go to Toronto for food festival like greek, Italian, whatever there normally pretty good.

I parked by harbour street walked a few km to the Eaton's centre.

I can't believe what a shithole toronto is! Bums where everywhere I must of seen hundreds of them. There sleeping on sidewalks. There drinking and doing hard drugs right in the open.

There was some guy with shitstained grey underwear (nothing else) sunbathing on the sidewalk.

The people are wierd looking down there didn't see any attractive females at all!

For restaurants I couldn't find anything decent ended up eating chipotles. Drinks where a mission to get I ended up sitting g on the street drinking beer. There no decent outside patios around that I could locate.

You go to Europe the city centre are shut down to traffic all it is restaurant, nice coffee shops, bars, cafes it's amazing.

Every building in Toronto is pretty much the same design not sure who the architect is a five year old who draws a rectangle with crayon. The city has no soul.

I wouldn't live in Toronto if you gave me a million dollar condo for free. It was that bad of a time.

The city is such a dump seems to be getting worse every year if it possible.

Should’ve tried Brampton
Lol. I'm not trying to be negative but it was bad. I couldn't believe the amount of homeless drinking and sleeping on sidewalks.

Im not going to brampton and probably wont go downtown Toronto again in my life.

I've seen enough

Yes, it's getting or is already pretty bad. I pity the poor locals who are forced to live close to them.

"Police have confirmed this in conversations about the increase in neighborhood thefts and break-ins."

Also, yesterday one of the "tent people" in Seton Park stabbed an innocent bystander.

It all turned to shit this year. Governments covid response drove a dagger through the hearts of many, many small business owners. Liberal government literally destroyed the city lmao. 1 new covid case yesterday in the city of Toronto. Probably 100x that in bankruptcies.

Crazy how so many people are oblivious to this. Maybe they’ll wake up when the damage is done

I live nearby and we already had a late night break-in at our building. Bikes are disappearing as well....saw one guy who was easily 6' tall trying to ride a kids bike down the street.

Not trying to be a NIMBY but it's a whole new element to the area.

Has anyone told you there is a pandemic happening, that restaurants still weren't allowing people inside and that there are now lots of people out of work?

Why the fuck would I go inside to eat in the summer?

Toronto sucks dude I walked probably close to 10km all together and didn't see one nice patio or restaurant that caught my attention.

On Yonge St no there aren't patios.

On Queen and King past University Ave there are several.

You were just in the wrong area.

In my neighborhood which is somewhat upscale, the city installed some park (yes park) benches on the sidewalk. Within seconds they were taken over by the homeless, panhandlers and winos.

LOL

First off, every fucking restaurant in town in closed due to Covid.

Second off, maybe you should try reading some reviews on line to figure out where the decent patios are rather than walking around seeing "what interests you". That's really not productive. They have this new invention called the internet and it allows you to search for information. Like, oh, I dunno, "Toronto good patios". Or here, just go here:
'

This town suffers no need for more or better restaurants, or patios. Just it's a little tough right now.

Wherever you are from, unless it's NYC, is a backwater compared to Toronto.

Dude, Toronto is still in Stage 2, what did you expect. Anywhere I go I have to get takeout and they wont serve me if I'm not wearing a mask, and there's a maximum of four people.

Are you from Mamora?

What makes me laugh is Yonge Street has always been seedy. Especially around that corner. For like 50+ years. I don't know how old he is or what village outside Thunder Bay he is from but he is in complete redneck territory.
