It's irrelevant in the context of how and why he died.
Why do you guys work so hard to support the thugs and criminals but not the rights of black people who choose Trump and the Republicans to best represent their views. Why do the self proclaimed left on here choose to be intolerant to the back community voices, all voices of the African Americans even though you guys say black lives matter. Why do you ignore their human rights to politics but choose to support thugs and criminals that beat up on their women and threaten their kids and keep committing many assaults especially against African American people? Why aren’t you listening to these voice and giving them equality. I thought you guys stood for equality of all. Why doesn’t all back people matter to your kind? Do black lives matter only to those that support your ideology? Does ideology trump the importance of race, opinion and CHOICE?

If you say black lives matter then why are you not acting like black lives all black lives matter?

If im guessing I bet the chauvin- Democrat thing isn't true. We know the head of the MPD union spoke at a Trump rally. This smells like the disinformation that shoots around the blogosphere...But hey I could be wrong.

Lol I'm not working too hard to support anyone. I just believe in due process. I also find it strange that mass murderers like Dylan Roof and Alek Minassian can be apprehended without a scratch.

Also, if you've read my posts in the past, you'll know, I was the one being blasted by posters on the right and the left on these boards for calling out young men of two Nationalities that are over represented in certain types of crimes in Toronto/GTA. I also stressed that it is a small group of them as well, and they don't represent ALL black people.

Right wing black people tend to support policies that are not in the best interest of the majority of black people, which is why they are hated in our communities. Cornel West is one of the black scholars that talk about the betrayal of the black elite, he criticizes Obama quite a bit as well. Rich black people (all political stripes) like all other elitists, don't want to lose their spot at the table. I have always argued that economic issues are the forefront of all racial issues. Too many black people are part of the lower segments of society due to racist policies that go back hundreds of years.

The George Floyd situation could have happened to any black man, his criminal record is irrelevant. White police officers have inherent bias just like everyone else, which is a problem. We just want to be treated equally. Don't brutalize black people or kill them when they are being arrested. This does not usually happen to white people (it happens at a lower rate to them), and it shouldn't happen to anyone.

Most of the old white guys on these boards know NOTHING about black people, and I bet they live in white enclaves. Black people in Toronto/GTA are mostly of Caribbean/West Indian or African descent. Most of this segment of this particular demographic is under 40. They are the children of immigrants or they themselves immigrated with their families at a young age. African Americans have been in North America for hundreds of years, they are mostly descendants of slaves brought to North America (there are small pockets of African Canadians as well). They suffer from generational poverty at a disproportionate rate, and black immigrants tend to do better economically than them.

The thing is with YOU people, you see black skin and think were all the same. That's what we have been saying for years. Even the ones who are mixed race like me. Being a mixed race guy myself, I've probably been through more racial abuse than the average person. Monoracial people (especially in their youth) can be nasty to someone that doesn't totally fit in because they are mixed race. All negative stereotypes and inherent bias are unfairly being projected unto all of us, because of a few bad apples. Black Africans are the smartest and most educated immigrants in Canada and The US, and though it's well documented, it's rarely mentioned as opposed to the "model minorities."

Sounds like Chauvin is the fuck head and he shouldn't have been in the position that he was in.
Some blokes get into law enforcement for the wrong reasons, like some blokes get into bouncing for the wrong wrong reasons. Your worst bouncers are warmed over bullies who enjoy beating people smaller than them. Real pro bouncers, I hate to say, are like Patrick swayze in the movie roadhouse (hate cuz dont like supporting my position w fiction). The majority of the bar fights I've seen or been in have been provoked by the bouncers, when their job should be to make sure people are safe and having a good time (cuz then they're spending money, and then the women will show, and if women show, the blokes will follow). And unfortunately there are some cops (a minority I will argue) who have this bully mentality where everything is a dick waving competition where they feel the need to humiliate along with the gaining compliance.

Totally correct, as with Floyd, but for some reason black people won't admit that which is her point. If a white man was a life time criminal, and held a gun to la pregnant women's stomach, and then died while committing another crime at the hands of police, I would think the cop should be accountable, but for the love of god, the last thing I would be doing is marching on streets and painting murals of this man. In fact, I would be saying "karma's a bitch now aint it".

Well now, a fine example of "RACISM" disguised as a derogatory white demographic generalization. As long as you keep nurturing your narrative, racism will always have a place in your heart. Often it is what we dislike about ourselves that we are triggered by when we see it in others. If you can change your narrative you can change yourself, until then, no matter how long-winded, you will pass through this life making no difference.

Neither resisted arrest. That's why they were as you said apprehended without a scratch.

Personally I wish they did and were not alive.

Bottom line do not resist arrest. Take your chances in court.

I think you're missing the point.

Floyd could've been anyone, black people from all walks of life suffer police brutality at a disproportionate rate. That's why people are protesting. All victims of police brutality get smeared in the media. Did Chauvin know who Floyd was when he him killed him! I doubt it, so it's irrelevant. Chauvin was just as bad as Floyd was, you could even argue that he was worse.

I know some pieces of shit that were killed living their lifestyle and I didn't care. In fact, CTV's camera man pointed out that I was laughing when they saw me a scene and I told them I knew the victim. But this person wasn't killed by taxpayer-funded thugs who are supposed to serve and protect.

Yes, mental gymnastics were you my poor soul, are a participant in the intellectual special Olympics, but not the recipient of even an honorable mention. A tragic prisoner of your own personality.

Yes, if that's how you want to justify your cognitive dissonance.

Have fun in your all white bubble, telling POC that they are racist because they don't accept your bullshit.

See how you twist things to summon an army, how weak are you intellectually you can't defend your narrative on your own.

telling POC that they are racist because they don't accept your bullshit, Very manipulative, this is you trolling for support how spineless is that? In making this statement you also insult POC insinuating that they can't think for themselves.

What I did was call YOU a racist because I don't accept YOUR bullshit.

You are racist based on your comments, my pointing that out in no way determines my position on anything it just calls you out on the shortcomings of your narrative. You are ruddered by your own hate and anger the fact that you don't see it in the words you type makes your comments no less racist. Read your own writing it's right there in front of you? There is no position from which you can RACESPLAIN what you have written to make it acceptable including playing the POC card to make me a villain.

Notice how you don't deny you are a racist?

I won't reply again you're a hate monger,,,,,, telling POC that they are racist because they don't accept your bullshit,

This is really showing how dumb you are. We all know black people have suffered police brutality. What she's saying is Floyd was a peice of shit, not a good person and shouldn't remembered like a good person and she's bang on. You can't admit that because he's black man killed by a white cop, so you will continue to push the narrative these great productive innocent black people and getting slaughtered by white police because of their skin colour.

Having that said, I won't really blame you as you've been brain washed to think a certain way.
