Not taking sides here but Your comment is inappropriate, Terbites stay clear from using family as insults.
You think that's an insult? That is in clear reference to him stating he knows who is in response to what I had said. It's along the lines of my mom loves me in response to someone saying nobody likes you.

Considering that as a family insult is a reach of epic proportions.

Those who defend the protests need to comment on this.
I don't think I've seen anyone here defend the looters and violent people. Is there someone in specific you're addressing?

As for that incident, the guy getting his ass kicked clearly should have been tossed in jail for attempted murder. We've seen a lot of support for vigilante defence against looting and violence. Seems that view goes out the window when the vigilantes are black.

Apples and oranges here.

One instance are people who are defending their property and the other are individuals destroying other peoples property.

If they came into your neighbourhood and attacked and looted your house would you be okay with that? Would you not defend your property or business?

Yeah, these vigilantes were black.

In one case, people's property may be at risk and if they haven't bothered with insurance they may lose money. In the other, it was a guy swinging a weapon at a kid. You might think breaking a window is a significant offence but I think trying to kill someone is more significant.

Insurance?.. Do you really think that insurance is going to cover all the costs of this? I wasn't aware that you were talking about the guy on twitter who was chasing people with what they said was a machete. I already denounced that. Of course you skirted my question. So I'll try again.

This pales in comparison to a white woman calling 911 because she felt threatened. These two jackasses will probably get promoted (if they are employed) and celebrated as heroes.

You sound so much like a klansman. What makes you think they will be promoted much less be free to find employment in the coming months?

You're still crying that a racist woman will now have to look for a different job?? She'll find another just like the cop who murdered Tamir Rice!

Don't cry for all racists. They'll be fine in some instances. Just like the cop who killed Garner. He earned 100K a year after killing him, apparently sitting behind a desk with NYPD.

Dartsy, it's an automatic disbarment. Stop being silly.

What do you think we do when we sit around and have coffee in the lawyer's lounge? Think through whether a .22 will take out Judge Wilson or whether she's such a tough old bitch, you'd need a .38 special?

Ok, I know in Canada lawyers are disbarred if they are convicted of stealing money from clients (don't ask me how I know). Anyway, we'll see what, if anything, happens to these NYC lawyers.

Speaking of NYC, there's a video of a police car trying to drive past an angry mob. I think the police inside the vehicle feared for their life as they were surrounded. That was one motherf----g angry mob.
