I called the covid hoax as it started to spread to here.
Just look at the trend of pneumonia cases /deaths over the past several years. There is a significant and sudden drop right as covid happened. Either they are reclassifying all pneumonia cases as covid, or the population already as covid in the past few years! They just discovered covid this year so they had to make a new category!

I presume someone saw a CDC chart and said it looks like pneumonia deaths are down from last year? But they don't know that the CDC reports weekly and revises as the info comes in so if you look at any week versus the numbers a year before you would find the same pattern? (You could look at the report from the same week from the previous year and see how it is below the revised total too.)
This is fun because when that mistake gets pointed out the obvious conspiracy answer is that the original numbers are right and in fact there *has* been a government conspiracy theory about pneumonia deaths for years.
I will get the popcorn.

Entertaining but dangerous. Even if his conspiracy theories are laughable, if he convinces even one person, harm has been done.

When they make the flu vaccine, and it is in advance of flu season, they have to try to predict which strain it will, so there will be some misses if a different strain comes down the pipes. In this case, they are targeting one specific strain. They know exactly which is the offending organism.
And even at 50%, that cuts down on a hell of a lot of cases, hospitalizations and deaths. It doesn't have to be 100% to have a significant beneficial effect on the population and the health care system.
