There's an easy solution to this shit, but it will never happen in Toronto. You have cops on every corner like New York. The problem is Toronto Police Officers make way to much. If they were getting paid the same as American police, they could double the force.

Highway shootings are apparently a thing now:

One dead in triple shooting on Hwy. 400

One of three men wounded in a shooting involving two moving vehicles on Highway 400 Saturday night has died.

Toronto Police say they were called to a Finch Ave. gas station around 7 p.m. after the three victims exited Hwy. 400 and reported the shooting.

Duty Insp. Stacey Davis told reporters the victims were driving south on the busy highway, between Steeles Ave. W. and Finch Ave. W., when the gunshots rang out.

The driver was able to make it to the gas station despite having been shot while behind the wheel. The driver’s side of the vehicle was riddled with bullet holes.

One of the victims was shot in the back while a second was hit in his calf, Davis said. Both are expected to survive.

However, the third man was shot in the head and was fighting for his life Saturday night. Police said Sunday morning he had died.

Davis said empty shells casings were found on the highway — a section of which was shut down while cops investigated.

No suspect description was immediately available.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the triple shooting, or dashcam video, to come forward

This one sounds like a gang initiation shooting. By all accounts this was a good kid enrolled in university media classes.
There's nothing to indicate he was involved with gangs at all.

That killer is a coward

No it doesn't.

It sounds like they were shooting up an enemy's block for revenge, because they didn't know exactly who to target, as was the case with Nnamdi Ogba. They definitely fucked up big time here because this kid didn't even look like he lived the street life which is baffling to even people who do. There's also a number of other possibilities.

I looked through Urbina's Facebook, he looks pretty gay.
I can't help but wonder if the shooter was on the DL or was sent by someone there. Being hit 10 times is lot.

Everyone just calm down. Bill Blair and John Tory have it all figured out. The shootings are being done by gang bangers with handguns, obtained illegally and used illegally. Violating multiple current Criminal Code statutes. Bill Blair says they aren't interested in prohibiting handguns, what they want to do is spend hundreds of millions to buy rifles from registered owners, who haven't violated any laws, who obeyed the laws to register them and are subject to some of the tightest gun laws in the world.. And Tory will make it a bylaw offence to possess a handgun in the City of Toronto. The gangsters must be shaking with fear. Can someone tell me how this makes logical sense?

I don't understand the article. Police say he was probably the target, so what do they mean he's innocent?
Couldve been a classmate fight since they both attended the same school.

But from what cops and media are saying the deceased kid didnt have any gang affiliation nor was he into drugs.
So its another senseless shooting. Shooter btw is 15-years old, so he wont get much time at all

Okay so if it was a fight, then I'm not sure "innocent" is the right word. "Innocent" of what?? Not also having a gun? Generally speaking, when people refer to innocent bystanders and such getting shot, it's people that had nothing to do with the confrontation, so the article doesn't make much sense.

I would say innocent to the point where nobody deserves to get shot to death over a stupid schoolyard fight

Okay, but for the purpose of the context, people get shot all the time in Toronto over dumb fights and arguments. Generally speaking "innocent" is used for people that had nothing to do the confrontation and were either killed in the cross fire or mistaken identity. Not the other person involved a fight that didn't have a gun.
