Wow...that’s clever. You figured out the secret code that it means exactly what it says.

But I don’t think Muslims are desecrating anything. There hasn’t been a Jewish temple there for 2000 years and the Mosques that currently function there have been in continuous use for the past 1000 years.

You sound like you are one of the Third Temple nuts.

I have to tell you that I was in the Hagia Sofia in Istanbul this summer. At one time it was a church and then it was a mosque. Now it’s a museum that embraces both. The presence of Muslims has never desecrated this one time church that is still part of the history of Christianity. In fact, I find it quite beautiful and admire the commitment of the Turkish people to highlight pluralism.
LOL!!! Let's send some non Muslims to Mecca and see how the Muslims react to the desecration of their holiest spot. I will reward each survivor with a very expensive gift, on their return. Safest bet in the world as there won't be any survivors. But, thanks for playing. The point is, Muslims knew that the Mount is the holiest spot in Judaism, that's why they put a mosque there. The Ottomans used to do that all over the Southern Europe during the expansion of their empire. It's how occupiers complete their conquests. Russia and then Soviets practiced it all over Asia and Europe. Prussia in the 19th century under Bismarck as well. They even had a name for it- kulturkampf. Dare I mention China, less than 50 years ago? And we the Jews get the flack, here? For what? The abomination is still standing! On the liberation day not only we did not level it, as we had every right to do it, but Dayan even ordered the Israeli flag to be taken down. Yeah, that was the weakness of the socialist Zionists- too nice. Oh, btw. We will rebuild the Temple, there. Eventually. Of that you can be sure.

Your thumb-sucking is amusing. Most men avoid it but you embrace it.

At least we know you advocate a level of intolerance identical to the Taliban.

That's it? You really don't know anything, do you? The lack of knowledge is so prevalent among your type it's nothing but a cliche.

So its ok because Israelis have the bigger army and can get away with it?

Do you really think thumb sucking deserves much of a response?

The point is, Israel, so far, is behaving a hell lot of better and certainly better than the Arabs deserve. But, ask yourself why has there been no appetite in Israel for the "peace process"? As for the bigger army. If Israel didn't have one, the Arabs would have converted the Knesset into a mosque, a long time ago.

Yawn. Why don't you give me a favor and take that trip to Mecca. I hear it's nice this time of the year.

Right, so not only is ok for the bigger army to take over whatever site they deem holy but you also think Israel should be applauded for not using their non-NPT nukes on them.
No wonder there is no peace there, if that's your idea of 'peace process'.

Didn't you that the Temple Mount is under the Jordanian jurisdiction? So which one is it? Are we weak or strong?

The country with the strongest army always rules the roost. Thats the way it is and the way its always been.
Liberals and anti-semites just hate the fact that Israel is stronger and can turn the entire middle-east into glass if they wanted to.
It bugs the shit of them, because they hate Israel and want to see her lose

Of course that's the truth, but you're not suppose to point it out in the polite company. Us just drawing breath is a punishment enough, but us cracking heads and knocking out teeth is a nightmare.

That must explain why the Israeli jets turned tail....the stronger Russian forces prevailed.

That explains why you keep posting so angrily about when Muslims try to fight back against western 'interventions', like in your Islamaphobia thread, where you count those killed by Muslims and label it as terrorism whatever happens but refuse to count those killed by western armed forces, even when US forces appear to target civilians. Because you must think they have a right to kill as many there since they have the strongest force.

As opposed to those of us arguing that wars and interventions should be stopped and laws should be obeyed, not that any side deserves to kill more and be the 'winner'.

Its under Jordanian control, not Israeli....
It's in Israel, under Israeli control as far as security goes, but the religious side is run my the mainly Jordanian WAQF.

Meanwhile it is common for Jewish (or other non-Muslim) visitors to be attacked to the point where police escorts are needed.

It also seems to me a thing Israel should be applauded for, allowing Judaism's holiest site to be run by a Muslim group, just to avoid religious incitement.

Only you would link to a source that contradicts you.

Except it’s not the law. From your own link

“The three defendants — two of whom are Israel Defense Forces soldiers — are charged with disrupting public order and disturbing police officers in the fulfillment of their duties.” Nothing about praying. That rabbinate order is quite broad.
...
How else can you explain quietly praying qualifying as disturbing public order?

The Likud Party is too far to the right. Right time to elect a more centrist party that can re-start the renegotiations once again with the Palestinians. We are now in the 21st century and a just days before the start of a new decade.
I agree. Last I saw, the centrist party is several seats ahead in polling for their third election.

The scary thing about Netanyahu is his ego has him willing to compromise to keep power while his opponent in the primaries puts up an even more rightest face.

...Now it’s a museum that embraces both.....
Try telling this to the waqf. It seems the Muslim authorities are the ones who don't want to share.

There have been compromises on several sites around Hebron that are holy to both with Jews able to visit and pray occasionally but there is no hint of similar happening with the Noble Sanctuary/Temple Mount.
