Extreme weather events are symptomatic of climate change, Gino.
Even CM's glacial melt articles note that glaciers started melting as the planet started warming, but they aren't extreme weather events, just symptoms of climate change.
Noting the really dramatic changes, like the arctic burning, California and Australian wildfires, the 2 billion tons of water that melted in one day from Greenland as the type of extreme weather events predicted with climate change is totally different from CM's newsclippings about weather.
Question for you Frankfooter, if the arctic ice ever completely (or mostly) melted, how many feet or metres do you think it would add to sea-level rise??

2 ) Greenland - Greenland's ice sheet just lost 11 billion tons of ice -- in one day
