By the way, your chart is wrong.
The present global temp is about 1ºC higher than your 15ºC line, at 16ºC or at the highest mark since the last ice age.
The Exxon and IPCC projections have it rising to what would be 18ºC by 2100 in your chart.
That would put it one degree higher than your chart even goes.
Note that your chart says dropping the global temp 4ºC results in an ice age and 3ºC warmer is close to a thermal maximum.



Now, back to the real question, why the fuck do you think Exxon scientists came up with the exact same projections for the climate that the IPCC has?
