Btw. Biden doesn't support universal healthcare. Not Mayor Pete. They support privatized healthcare. Period.
Buttigieg will be the new Clinton, the dems safe choice against Trump.
If Trump's corruption wasn't so massive they might be able to risk Warren or Sanders.

Obama at the very least was about the first american leader to call for transformational change of a society built on the backs of its original sins. His vision at least in terms of American values, included real introduction of affordable health care, real lecturing to the voters about change in gun laws, he started criminal reform by not exactly taking the side of law enforcement every time. With out a doubt he started the green revolution, with government funded corporations to build the hardware. This man is the George Washington of the progressive movement. Lefties better listen up.

As a guy on the right that says drill baby drill, more cars, more pipeline, more railways, more jobs. None of the democratic candidates have a chance against Trump if he makes to the general election.

2 people worry me. Mrs Obama and Oprah. If they announce before April 2020 they are running. Trump won't win 1 electoral vote, not 1! Imagine Trump debating Michelle Obama. He would be wise to shower her with much praise cause, if you have ever pondered what it looks like when a POTUS goes to federal prison, you know like, does the secret service get to bunk with him or like how does that work! I mean you think Michelle isnt going to slap the shit out of him during that drive to the white house where Trump hands over the keys, or at the very least she provokes Melania into a fight.

Back to my point. Mr Obama should held up high as a leader for the left. The left could use a little slow and steady right know. You may not believe what he believes, as I don't. Do not doubt me when I say this is a VERY WISE MAN who should be more than just listened t.

Hmmm, I wonder what America's biggest original sin was?

Since most of the American electorate are legal immigrants or offspring of legal immigrants who came long after these sins, the idea of collective atonement isn't an electoral winner. Surprise! Surprise!

However, it is a winner with the Far Left.

Really? Michelle and Oprah?

The chance is zero. I repeat zero they come in. Neither want it, not will risk their income to do it.

And he barely moved the needle, while governing as a soft Republican.

It also shows how far to the right the Dems gave drifted if he is governing like Reagan.

Or do you think Reagan was a lefty? That's Obama describing himself remember. As a Reaganesque figure.

The Dems vote unanimously for legislation like Trump's last Pentagon Budget. And actually gave MORE than he asked for. Continue to support private big med. And take money from all the worst lobbyists.

Have you looked into the corporate history of the latest entrant into the race? Deval Patrick, Democrat.

Worked for Bain Capital, Romney's vulture capital firm, worked for Texaco(board member and lawyer) and for Ameriquest, the WORST sub prime lender and foreclosure after getting their bailout.

And he was supported by Obama to run. That's the leadership of the Modern Democratic party at its finest.

Add in the Bloomberg feels comfortable as a Dem. That says it all as well.
Reagan was more Moderate in many ways. The Republicans have drifted to the right in the manner in which they voraciously opposed any Universal Healthcare, or Education and other infrastructure spending.

They gave the Corporate giants a free reign in the manner in which they had the highest prices in the world for stuff like medicines, and healthcare, while insurance companies benefited to the tune of billions of dollars. That is why the Republicans opposed it as they are the most corrupt party, and have drifted even further to the right. Thanks to your hero.... Trump. The Republicans are fully aware that Trump is the one who instigated this whole Ukraine Scandal and should be impeached. But they will blindly defend him!!

There are self-loathing Jews who are ant-Semites. In the case of Miller I am not sure if that label fits or not but he is without question a racist.
I don’t know any Jews I would call anti-semites, I know several racist Jews..... mostly against Arabs or anyone who’s Muslim.

There are a lot of self hating Jews and its always been the case. When you're constantly hounded, excluded from participating in the social, political and economic life, it is only natural for some to try to change who they are. One of the reason communism was so popular among us- in theory, it carried a promise of a post racial, post national future. Of course the reality was much different.

My experience, and I don’t presume this to be anything other than my experience, is that my Jewish friends are very insular. They mostly socialize with other Jewish people, they see politics through an Israel lens. When I lived in NY I didn’t see as much of this but in small city Ohio it seems like a somewhat isolated community. In this group I’m the goy toy, which I thought was a funny nickname. I’ve also snagged the most beautiful lady in the community, they seem to have a good sense of humor about it.

Canadians have very little idea how many Americans are closet Trump supporters. Many of them have told me they don’t let their friends, co-workers or neighbours know they support him. They’ve also told me they are better off financially with Trump at the helm. As they say “I vote with my pay cheque.

There’s going to be a lot of jaws dropping next year amongst the Liberals.

This is very true, the TDSers are so unhinged there is no reason to trigger them in social or work circles.

Where Reagan and Clinton come together, are you better off today than you were 4 years ago or it’s the economy stupid.

I have clients (Bank CEOs) that have aggressive and conservative 2021 plans based on Trumps re-election. They don’t hide it at all.

Must suck to be publicly embarrassed about your political leader.

In the real world, as opposed to places like TERB, it's good judgement not to unnecessarily trigger people who are prone to irrational reactions. Closet Trump supporters aren't embarrassed about supporting Trump. They just see no need to deal with irrational behaviour from Trump opponents every day. What's instructive is that, by contrast, Trump opponents feel free to voice their emotional bluster without restraint. They clearly either don't understand the unfavorable impression of themselves that creates in the minds of others, or they don't care. I think the word for the good judgement exercised by Trump supporters is called "maturity".

Nonsense.

It seems like there are two kinds of Trump supporters.
1) MAGA hat wearing loudmouths
2) those who back him but won't admit it publicly

Just like there are hardly any Bernier supporters here in Canada who will do so publicly. Even Phil M and zailbetter won't even say if they back Bernier here on this board.
