Full marks to the Nationals for a well deserved World Series win.
They rose to the occasion when it mattered the most.

Not a chance.I imagine that all Expo fans are just as happy as if the team was still in Montreal.
A team needs only 3 starting pitchers in the playoffs and the National have 3 of the best.Corbin faced 20 batters throughout his relief stints in the playoffs and registered eight strikeouts. Two leads preserved, one tie game that remain tied, and one deficit that was kept small enough for the offense to turn it into a lead during the pivotal Game 7 of the World Series.

I was always pulling for him but so injury prone. He is only 28 so he still has time to make his mark. He has a career .274 BA, so he should be worth some team giving him a shot. IF he'd stayed healthy he would have been a steal for Anthony Gose.Out of all the people in baseball, this is one guy my heart really goes out to. A once promising career, now very much in doubt. Was a complete class act with an extremely positive attitude.
Hope he gets another shot somewhere.

He was young. I am not sure that they had any prescience? Prospect for prospect. And maybe they had more need for a speedy outfielder than an unproven infielder. Based on their results this past decade, I wouldn't give them that much credit. LOLI've always wondered that the Tigers knew that he is prone to injury and unloaded him on the Jays.
