Rudy Giuliani admitted that he put fake White House logos on his Ukraine conspiracy theory documents and tried to pass them off as real.

Thanks! I asked because it doesn't look Photoshopped to me, it looks hand drawn (which is insane). It'll be interesting to see if he specifically says he created the fake logo. Compare the Pompeo package to an actual White House envelope.

Rudy Giuliani falsified documents to try to get the State Department to investigate his Russia conspiracy theory against Joe Biden.

This is a whole new level of crazy.

Guiliani was hellbent on getting the State Department to investigate Biden. Instead of investigating Biden, the State Department turned the documents over to their IG who then turned them over to Congress. Thus, providing more evidence for impeachable Ukraine conspiracy. The documents that Giuliani compiled have been described as an amateurish right-wing conspiracy theory. The fact that the president and his lawyer would run with this half baked scheme is a sign that they could find nothing on Biden, and there is no law that they won’t break to win the 2020 election.

On the same night that America finds out that Mike Pence may have also committed an impeachable offense, the country learns that the president’s lawyer spends his free time faking White House logos for his conspiracy theory docs.

It is only 9 since the impeachment investigation was announced and team Trump is a pile of rubble.

One of the things I was responsible for in my movie days was fake documents, logos and signage. Like Rudy would, I had people to do that for me, and if they'd tried to palm-off hand-lettering for something that would convince on camera, they'd have been out the door. Like Tweets in general, the ones in this story show very little brain-power, and less thought. Of course as Trump's lawyer, Rudy's office is likely full of real White House envelopes and letterhead that he could have 're-purposed'.

The point here is not the suspected petty forgery of a logo, but the barefaced misrepresentation of his package of documents as State Department material, as if he spoke for the Department. He doesn't, didn't, never has. Lies and exaggerations — like the source of the rumours and requests you're peddling — are the air and lifeblood of politics, but he's outta that realm, seemingly to his regret. And old habits die hard. 'Specially the bad ones.

He's just a personal lawyer for a serial defendant/plaintiff, with a current score of over 3,500 individual cases involving him and his companies. If he needs counterfeit materials, there's no way he'd accept hand-drawn".
