Why would Trump hide a copy of his phonecall when he knows others are listening in on the conversation??

Welllll... mayyyybe because:

1. He honestly doesn’t realize it is illegal for anyone to ask a foreign government to investigate a political rival.

Or

2. He thought he was being coy that because he didn’t *directly* ask to investigate the Biden’s in exchange for releasing the $400m of military aid that he was ok

Or

3. He thought that all his calls were protected by “ Executive Privilege “ etc
and the soldiers and Capos listening in are in his crew and loyalty to the Omerta code is still enforced by The Boss

If he did any of that or Biden shot a guy on Park Ave, it is up to the police, FBI, CIA, DOJ or Ukraine to initiate criminal investigations. NOT the President.

What you and Trump don’t understand is:

1. The President is not to initiate or interfere with law enforcement investigations. ESPECIALLY for political reasons and ESPECIALLY not in furtherance of his own political interests.

2. Asking a foreigner or foreign government for “a favour” to investigate your political opponent(s) is a crime. Period.

Trump is the President. Not Biden, not Hilary,

Is it up to the VP to arrange the firing of a prosecutor in another nation with aid directly on the line? Especially to shut down an investigation involving his child?

Isn't Trumps job to PROTECT his country?

If theres nothing to worry about, why is Biden making a big deal? Im sure if there is no evidence, hes golden?

Are you telling me Trump is conducting a witch hunt without ANY evidence?

“Whattaboutism” is the argument of the weak and simpleminded.
In this case they powers that be have to choose to throw Biden under the bus to get Trump or not.

Impeachment isn't a criminal process, it's a political one. And optics do count.

So Whattaboutism is all you got?
When it comes to corruption in Washington it will always be the roadblock to real reform. Both parties leadership is corrupted.

As to this impeachment is not a criminal matter but a political one. Optics matter. This only works if Hunter is clean. He isn't.

It's dead in the Senate.

It is not Trump’s job to conduct investigations of anyone, politicians, witch hunt or legitimate.

I believe that you sincerely don’t understand how inappropriate that is

Biden doesn't hold a government office, but Trump does. That makes him someone who can be impeached, which is a legal, criminal process, not just a political one. As an ordinary citizen, impeachment law can't touch Biden.

Indeed he will have to be dealt with extra-legally, if no relevant law can be found. At that point you can deal with the rhetorical process of finding a less murderous metaphor.

Actually I do. Fully. I also think compared to say lying about WMD causing thousands of deaths, and condoning illegal torture the bar has been set pretty high.

This is quite frankly low on most Americans radar. Just another day in Washington corruption and use of foreign policy for personal gain.

So long as the Democratic party try to protect Hunter and Joe Biden (and his presidential run as well as the larger Obama legacy) then they can be called hypocrites.

Politicians try to dig up dirt all the time on opponents, whether from a domestic or foreign source.
Remember the Steele dossier??

Democrats better have really good evidence that Trump did a favour for Zenelsky in return for dirt.
If they dont this will go nowhere just as Mueller went nowhere

Then whats the point to the CIA, FBI, Secret Service, etc.???

Dont they work in partnership with the President?

Obama had the FBI wire tap Trump Tower.

Whos in charge of these organizations? Do they NOT work for the Govt?
