It has now been reported, in the whistleblower's complaint, that staff were instructed to store the record of the Ukraine/Trump conversation in a code-worded location that was not the norm but is reserved for highly sensitive information that would not be able to be seen by others. Evidently this technique had been used in numerous situations earlier.

Very inconsistent for a conversation that trump claimed was "perfect".

Hey, slurp, cover-ups do not usually end well. Maybe this is the beginning of the end.

Trump's going to drag down everyone who worked with him again.

You'd think with Cohen, Manafort et all in prison now that people working for him would be prepped and cover their own asses.
But now Barr, Pence, Pompeo, Mulvaney and Guiliani are all going to be testifying about deeply troubling shit.

All the president’s loyalists: Impeachment net snares Trump’s top advisers
The president’s senior aides are about to face the punishing spotlight of an impeachment inquiry, the beginning of personal and professional costs spreading throughout the Trump orbit.

You know that all the US President's telephone conversations are recorded, right?? This has been standard procedure for the last 60 years or so.

So even if they did hide the recording in a secret location, the NSA would still have a copy

Have they confirmed that they had a copy? If not, then your statement is conjecture.

If they do have a copy, please provide your source saying such
Sure, its called the Presidential Records Act: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Presidential_Records_Act

By law all telephone calls from US Presidents must be recorded and stored accordingly.
How do you think the "whistleblower" got access to Trump's phonecalls??

"Such records are typically a rough transcript as a president's phone calls with world leaders are not recorded, according to Richard Haass, president of the Council on Foreign Relations. The formal draft instead relies on National Security Council (NSC) staff who are listening in and taking notes."

Well okay.......but my point is Trumps' calls are being monitored 24/7.

And it would be real easy to just put Trump's calls on speaker phone and turn your iPhone recording app on

I can't believe they wouldn't actually record it.
NSA has lied about this stuff before.

So you have what is supposed to be done. You do not have anything that says that they have this particular conversation. If you did you would have posted it to leave zero doubt.

They have a shorthand copy of his phonecall instead of a recording I guess.
Tomato, Tomatoh.

Lets go back to my original point though, why would Trump hide a copy of his phonecall when he knows others are listening in on the conversation??

Please answer that

Of course they would.

You'd have to be really naive or stupid to think otherwise

Thanks for confirming that you don't know if they do and that they have not confirmed if they do
You dont read very well, I am confirming the exact opposite.
As per toguy's link:

"Such records are typically a rough transcript as a president's phone calls with world leaders are not recorded, according to Richard Haass, president of the Council on Foreign Relations. The formal draft instead relies on National Security Council (NSC) staff who are listening in and taking notes."

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news...esidential-conversations-recorded/2438667001/
So NSC staff listen in on all of Trump's phonecalls, and they keep notes of what is said.
So they would have to have a copy or transcript of Trump's phonecall.

Now are you gonna answer my question or not?? Here it is again:

Why would Trump hide a copy of his phonecall when he knows others are listening in on the conversation??
