Democrats would be foolish to impeach, they'll never get the votes in the senate.

Republicans wont convict on something they'll chalk up to sausage making, partisan politics.

It took getting Nixon on tape offering hush money to bring him down, this isn't the same ballpark, not even close
No, but I dont want them to stop trying because the fail is gonna be strong with this one again, just as it was with RussiaGate :biggrin1:

The Justice Department investigation of the whistle blowers complaint (not sure that’s the right term) has determined there was not law broken. I don’t think there will be much here other than endless outrage and talking points (which we’ve had for nearly 3 years).

Didn’t work on Bubba, will activate his base and put Dem control of the House at greater risk.
Bubba got a fucking blow job... Trump threatened a foreign leader by cancelling already approved military shipments in order to pull a shakedown involving that foreign leader providing dirt on his opponent and thereby influencing the 2020 election. Mueller confirmed obstruction and now Trump follows that up by demonstrating baldfaced collusion..............seriously impeachable unless the Senate is totally corrupt ( and they probably are). Hopefully the voters will do the right thing.

Point is, it's Donny who faces the uphill climb, not Pelosi or the House of Representatives.

They'll find what they find, vote as they think best, and the matter will, or will not go to the Senate, where there's small chance it will succeed. None of that will make Donny look like a better President than his own poor efforts so far.

None of those yet efforts have yet been enough to boost his approval ratings out of the 40% zone.

That percentage reflects the actual vote count that was all he managed, back when Crooked Hillary decisively out-scored him. No Senate vote that's even more partisan than the fake-one that handed him the Presidency will help him in the slightest next November.

No amount of preaching to the choir can lift him out of negative territory to win that one. No matter how clumsy these Democrats may appear, they don't make him look any more honest, honourable or even competent than the man we saw then.

Nor has anything that Donny himself has done since. He's the one who needs the converts.

51% of daily tracking of the likely voters approve of Trump's job.

That's supposed to impress? Without even a source for the number? I'll stick with my '40% zone'

Not enough effort for even a token final 'thanks'.

And just 43.7% of the likely voters, the sort jc's poll supposedly surveyed. That's 2.4% worse than when he was up against someone he could claim was a crook.

He and his crowd still don't seem to get it; unless he starts winning converts and boosting his support, all he's got going for him is that rigged electoral system he complained about, which he's done nothing to fix.

The further rigging his folks have been doing since 2016 may just get him a second term, but since the American political environment has by all accounts only declined into rancorous dysfunction and corruption under his leadership, that's a thing to be feared if you care about the country. If all you care about is winning, like him, then it won't matter if everything just gets worse.

In an election all you have to do is be less bad (your current election should be hi-lighting this) especially in a two horse race. Unless it’s Biden the far left policies of Warren and Sanders will scare the swing voters who are employed and getting raises.

We'll see.

The Ukraine case is pretty dead simple, with Trump releasing a record of the call that clearly shows he's guilty it won't be hard to make the case.
Then the dems can spend the rest of the year talking about everything else Trump has done that's shitty and force the senate GOP's to publicly state whether they think that Trump's actions are ok.
The Republicans can't vote to impeach Trump, his base is strong, that's why he has taken over the party. If they impeach him the Trump base will just not vote in the next election. That will kill off what's left of the Republican party. They hate Romney, he's the only one to speak out about it because he knows the Republican base hates him, they view him as a loser. He has nothing to lose going against Trump.

It should impress since Rasmussen does DAILY tracking of the LIKELY voters and they usually get it very close.

Now you're going on about these Rasmussen folks, whoever they are. What connection do they have with the post you're replying to?

Are you having trouble finding the words to simply tell us what you read, and where, back when you plopped some unattributed (not to say invented) statistic in here? Do you expect I might actually remember it?

Sorry. Too many TERBians toss around too many imaginary stats too often for that. Even imagined/invented to a tenth of a percent, unattributed stats don't impress.

And persuade even less.

I’m surprised you’ve missed this. They are not liberal biased news approved but as jcpro said they have a strong track record.

Hillary didn’t lose because of her centrist neocon positions, she lost because she’s a cunt.
