Certainly not out of the question. After the 2008 housing crash, the US government did little to put in regulations. I can see an economic crash in the states happening soon. Time to buy gold.

No, that was Clinton signing the repeal Glass Steagall.
My point was that it's idiotic to blame the messenger.
If your point was that it was a Democrat as opposed to Republican, I couldn't care less, I'm not into that paradigm,
they're all dancing off the same strings as far as I'm concerned. I'm well aware of Clinton's great legislative record, but
interesting that you don't give Greenspan any credit, and he himself admitted that he fucked up.

While China is slowing and Europe is dormant there are very few signs of a “crash”
Thanks for the concise analysis, I'll be sleeping better tonight for sure.

I think I will take a successful businessman who's surrounded himself with brilliant economic minds in Ross, Mnuchin and Kudlow over a law professor turned Senator any day.
I'm sure you would have taken the brilliant economic minds that drove the economy off a cliff in 2008 over a law professor turned Senator.

Trump was gifted millions, repeatedly bailed out, repeatedly charged with fraud, and repeatedly went bankrupt.
And even so, he still had to rely on illegal aliens for labour and stiff his investors and partners.

The problem is new regulation is great at preventing the previous bubble. Bubbles are difficult to predict and prevent.

The fact that there were real estate bubbles in other parts of the globe suggests it was not a phenomenon of lax U.S. bank regulation alone. You also have to the factor ridiculous government policies to promote home ownership that conflicted with bank prudence.

I could also bore you with details of how Chinese surplus dollars were recycled into the U.S. and other real estate markets. Sound familiar Canadians?

Warren might have had her timing right on the real estate bubble prediction and Wall Street regulation is her opportunity.

Not sure why you bring the DNA test. Trump and his Family in the past stated that the are of Swedish descent. Obviously, that was a lie. That is why it is hypocritical to slam Warren for her DNA.
Beav, you need someone to act as an intellectual filter for you. Just because some media outlet reports it doesn't make it worth repeating.

There is a big, big difference not wanting to be publicly known to be of German descent in the immediate aftermath of the holocaust and the war versus identifying yourself as a minority for professional advancement. Harvard and other universities are not just known for diversity recruiting. They publicly pronounce their commitment to diversity recruiting.

The only thing that can really be said is that Warren and Trump are Americans.

Wyatt you definitely are no "intelligence filter"? Obviously, you are just brainwashed by that Trumptard idiot who is the most racist President in modern times.

Did I not mention that Warren should not have claimed to be of Indigenous origin? Warren apologized for it and you have to credit her for it.

When did Trump do the same for the various shit that he has spewed from his mouth, including his family claiming to be Swedish and Obama not born in the USA?? Yet you voraciously defend this idol of yours and cannot fathom how people with even an average intelligence think that Trump is the biggest liar that gets away with it because of people like you, that support his lies and then tries to make excuses for it. Yet you will keep on attacking others who have apologized because they were more honest enough to own up to their gaffes!!

By all means if I write something ridiculous or unfair, call me on it specifically. I have been known to admit the errors of my ways. That flexibility is what makes me difficult. I form a lot of thoughts about politics and econ that aren't always coming directly from media outlets right or left.

I still don't see the equivalency of Trump's father denying his German ancestry after the war. Some of us old enough knew German-Americans who refused to speak German. There are many Americans (and Canadians I presume) whose families anglicized their names and rarely discussed their ethnicity.

Most educated people do not want to admit that their view of the world is shaped by the media. What images, what commentary, what stories, they choose to present to you has incredible power in our minds.
Butler100%Exposed2.0
You keep exposing yourself for a troll and the fraud you are. According to your own post you are uneducated since your views are not shaped by the media. But hey let me guess you view yourself as one of the few educated people whos views are not shaped by the media. Why don't you tell us about MSM and fake news again?

Unfortunately for you there are people who see right through the nonsense you post here. Your views are formed by Fake Fox & Friends and fringe right websites. Make no mistake you are a Tighty Whitey Righty.

The problem with lawyers is not their lack of knowledge but their lack of morals.

Whether Warren is an economic expert or not, I've come to conclude that Wall Street and predictions of another crash are her political shtick. Pessimism doesn't sell well in the general.

Butler, Bernie could do well to present a more positive view if he can be less grumpier.

It's stunning how negative and angry the Democratic candidates are. Maybe that's why Tulsi and Williamson won the Drudge post debate polls.

Bottom line is thousands of people have a livelihood thanks to Trump's companies. Nobody has a livelihood because of Warren. If she ever got the reigns of power it would be total collapse.

It would be frightening if the economy crashed and Warren was the President to be relied on during tough times. Many things come to mind when one thinks of Warren, but confidence isn't one of them.

You are the one that started criticizing others without trying to fathom what exactly they were saying in the first place. I said that Warren should not have used her remote Indigeneous ancestry to benefit her means. The Trump family have done so as well:

Trump's father, Fred Trump, made up the Swedish ancestry after World War II so he wouldn't have problems selling apartments to Jewish buyers on account of his German heritage. (Friedrich Trump immigrated to New York from Germany in 1885.)
https://theweek.com/speedreads/739921/trump-incorrectly-claimed-swedish-decades

But there you go trying to defend the Trump's family's fake ancestry, but the hypocritical Donnie Boy will attack others including a sitting President with some fake allegations!!
