I'm a bit nervous regarding the lakers having a spot. Complete curveball.
The one thing I hate about the NBA is how it caters to Lebron and the Lakers. The Pelicans owner fought hard but i guess the NBA mafia forced him to release AD and now the Wizards 'generously' help free some cash for the Lakers. Total crap.
Right....would love to hear how that convo goes. "So, Kevin...your going to be ready to play in 2021 right?"Let's add this to the mix.
ESPN reporting that Kawhi and Kevin Durant might team up. Surely, KD must know how the Raptors restored Kawhi back to health. No way the Raptors would have run an injured KD out there to get hurt again (shame Golden State).
I have stated many times that Kawhai will resign with Raps. Now I find myself second guessing that prediction..KD expected to sign with Brooklyn.
If Golden State also lose Thompson.
The hype is getting hot right now my friend. Brace yourself. He will not be a Laker. Don't believe the hype. It's just not going to work there. The Lakers need more depth. If Leonard does go there, he'll have a hard time cause there's no way they can do work load management with just them 3. He'll be a raptor. He sign a 2 plus 2 or something like that.

I'll start measuring the width of the streets for the next parade route right away.

Looks like a decent signing to me. He can hit the 3 and that should be a big plus for a player most likely to be a bench player. The price is right, if he gives a few minutes a night with some scoring, good deal! Why the sarcasm? You realize not every player you sign on your roster will be a super star right?
Insurance for the fact Danny Green may not be back next year so we need another 3-point specialist. That's my guess.Looks like a decent signing to me. Guys, let remember the "bird story". "If we love him, set him free. If he loves us, he will come back."I'm about 50% certain Kawhi will re-sign with Toronto. Likely on a 1+1 deal. We'll find out shortly I guess.
If we lose Kawhi, chances are we lose Danny Green too. We gave up Derozan and Poetle remember. Danny Green isn't just a 3 point specialist, he played some pretty great defense all year. Matt Thomas will probably be a liability on defense. If he was much of a defender, he would have been scooped up long ago by an NBA team. They'd be lining up for a young Danny Green. He played for the Lakers in last years summer league. If he could play D, he'd be a Laker already.Insurance for the fact Danny Green may not be back next year so we need another 3-point specialist.
