Kenny Smith showed up on Tim and Sid, his comments were correct. Ultimately is was KD and Klay choice to play even though they had pre-existing injuries. Klay's aggravated injury was particularly galling, his knee would not have buckled if he didn't already have a hamstring strain. Kawhi also picked up an injury against the Magic - but we got lucky. It wasn't serious enough that time in the hyperbaric chamber couldn't fix.

Marc Gasol has re-upped with the Raptors. Dina Pugliese was falling in love with him during the parade, she said his antics were adorable. He must have quaffed at least three bottles of Krystal himself...which is why he didn't get a chance to speak.

Can Kawhi make up his mind where he goes today or anytime before Jul 1? Is he still employed by the Raps till Jul 1 even though he already opted out of the player's option?

Free agency doesn't begin until 6pm on Sunday. Anyone with a player option year would have to opt in or out by a specific date prior to free agency. Gasol opted in, Kawhi, KD and others will head into free agency.

Honestly though...if any of my siblings (we're pretty close) tells me where to live...i'd tell them to...
frig off...
Actually, there are benefits to living far away from relatives, if you know what I mean. This way you can concentrate on your craft and your own family.

It's definitely down to 2, Toronto and LA.

Toronto because of the team and how well they meshed together and well, NBA Championship. He did his job, he doesn't owe us anything. In fact, I'd be okay if he left, his silence is rather annoying at this point.
We can get some good talent for his cap space.

LA because he has a gorgeous home though, close to home, can possibly turn the clippers into contenders (which is challenge he'd no doubt like to take on) and he's stated he is not a fan of the cold weather here. lols

Kawhi spotted in Barbados wearing a Jays t-shirt.

Hope nothing bad happens to him. I remember Jim Lonberg had a clause in his contract to not go skiing. Of course, he went skiing and broke his ankle.

It's fascinating how the fates of our city premiere sports clubs are playing out. If the Leafs agree to Marner's wage demands it will set the team back. If Kawhi agrees to terms with the Raptors, they have a legit chance to repeat.

After he drained the buzzer beater against the 76ers, Kawhi got a face full of Serge's sweaty armpit.

Intrigue in L.A. According to Sportsnet, Magic Johnson (who is no longer with the Lakers) wants to talk to Kawhi. Apparently, Magic and Kawhi's uncle are good friends. Apparently, it is Jeanie Buss who is encouraging Magic to talk to Kawhi. Where does the truth lie?

I can't even leave a $5 on the table and Kawhi would leave about $50mil on the tabe if he decided to go home! Wow. No matter what happens next week I still have to get up and go to work. Life goes on,guys. LOL!

I'm not buying the Lakers. There might be a meeting for shits and giggles, but it's just not a good fit. For starters, there's not enough ball to go around for those 3. The Lakers would be screwing themselves if one of those guys get hurt, and we already know work load management is a thing with Leonard. So he's going to go join a team with 3 players, but he's going to sit out 1/3rd of the games? Lakers could miss the play offs again if they try this.

I'm a bit nervous regarding the lakers having a spot. Complete curveball.

The one thing I hate about the NBA is how it caters to Lebron and the Lakers. The Pelicans owner fought hard but i guess the NBA mafia forced him to release AD and now the Wizards 'generously' help free some cash for the Lakers. Total crap.

Let's add this to the mix.

ESPN reporting that Kawhi and Kevin Durant might team up. Surely, KD must know how the Raptors restored Kawhi back to health. No way the Raptors would have run an injured KD out there to get hurt again (shame Golden State).

If he goes, he goes. I'll always appreciate what he did this year.

Think about it from his perspective....Why lock yourself into this aging core. Lowry/Gasol/Ibaka/VanVleet are all on expiring deals next season. Serge & Marc will be a step slower. Fred will price himself beyond the Raptor's taste. Kyle will be 34 when his deal is up. So how comfortable will Kawhi be with OG & Siakam as his running mates?

If I was him, I'd go to New York with KD and own the town. Plus, they have a nice young core to work with. They're the only team that can afford 2 max guys outright.

Forget the Lakers. He'd be 3rd banana surrounded by a bunch of G-League guys. Maybe the Clippers but I'm not sold on the rest of the roster, plus they'll need to make moves to free up space for a 2nd max guy.

Except there isn't a clue to what condition KD will be in if he recovers. Demarcus Cousins had an Achilles Heel tendon rupture in the winter of 2017 and he's been far from fit.

Dr. Jerry Buss was to the Lakers what Jack Kent Cooke was to the Redskins. Both franchises have been in shambles since their passing. Without an arena of their own The Clippers can't be taken seriously, they are tenants at the Lakers digs. And they are owned by Steve Ballmer, in his 8 years in charge of Microsoft he drove them into mediocrity.

Kawhi wants to be the man but he wants strong personalities around him to take away the media pressure. That's why Jimmy Buckets is waiting on is decision. Sid Seixeiro said that Masai is a Ninja, I believe in Masai!
