Justin Trudeau has done many embarrassing things on the world stage. And now, he’s outdone himself.

Speaking with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Justin Trudeau twice referred to Japan as ‘China.’

First he talked about celebrating “Canada-China” relations.
Then, at the beginning of another press conference with Abe, Trudeau again brought up “the tremendous friendship that we celebrate today and everyday between Canada and China.”

Appalling.
Trudeau embarrassed himself, and considering how much coverage this will get around the world, he’s embarrassed Canada as well.

Japan and China deeply dislike each other, with many unresolved disputes and intense lingering anger from World War Two.

To confuse Japan and China, not just once, but twice, and especially in front of the Japanese PM is a disgrace, and shows how unserious and unprepared Justin Trudeau is.

They are both politicians. One was a drama teacher and the other a businessman.

All leaders make some slip ups / gaffes etc when they actually misspoke. But the first time Trudeau stated China, he then apologetically corrected himself to say that he meant Japan. The second time he should have done so but that was towards the very end and they wrapped up. But when Trump categorically defended Putin's version of Russian non interference in the elections at the summit and days later stated that he meant "wouldn't" instead of would, that is when it was really very pathetic. We all saw him hug Putin and warmly shake his hands etc. Any other President would not have gone behind close doors and kept that whole conversation very hush, hush.

If there was definite evidence that Russia interfered with the Canadian elections, then would Trudeau defend Russia over CSIS intelligence?? Again my statement is true!!
