No need, this is a huge nation as is most of the West. More than enough space. ....
Funny that you say this when you were just complaining about immigrants from male-dominated societies.

And you ignored the question of what tests we can use to "pick well".

...When it comes to refugees and Islam in particular, transparency tends to be the second victim.....
Seems rational thought is the first victim. Police never provide regular updates to the press on their investigations (that aren't an ongoing threat) but in cases where the perp might be Muslim people act like there is some conspiracy to keep the news quiet.

Maybe because it was a political decision that brought a murderer to our shores?
One bad apple in a basket means all the rest of the apples are rotten according to your logic. This murderer deserves to spend the rest of his life behind bars with absolutely no parole. He has shamed the rest of his community who are trying to get their lives in place after their tragedies, where most of them went through the same tragedies before their arrivals in Canada. Obviously, it is very sad that this family have to go through life with such a tragedy in their minds. But the right wingers as usual try their level best to politicize it.

Since when were Mafia killings related to Political decisions even when those who are head of the criminal "Ndrangheta" gangs are not Canadian citizens, but were living here since their infancy days?

https://nationalpost.com/news/man-p...new-court-battle-against-deportation-to-italy

By the way this same "Ndrangheta" Clan of the Mafia treat their women no different than the very conservative Sharia Muslims do. But you do not see zaibetter posting any such violation of human rights threads by this very criminal and even terrorist group that operate in Canada.

The killer was here only 3 months when he murdered the little girl. I thought they were selecting only safe families.

The B.C. murder and Trudeau's rushed refugee vetting

We could have yet another tragic indicator that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s refugee policy is failing us.

Earlier this week, police arrested a Syrian refugee and charged him with the murder of 13-year-old Marissa Shen in Burnaby, B.C.

The accused, 28-year-old Ibrahim Ali, had only been in Canada for a few months when this horrific crime took place. Police believe that the two did not know each other and that this was a totally random act of brutality.

Ali came to Canada as one of 40,000 Syrian refugees admitted through Trudeau’s elaborate PR stunt, which saw the government skip important security steps, bypass integration programs, and overwhelm refugee resettlement agencies, all in pursuit of achieving Trudeau’s naive 2015 election campaign pledge.

During his mad dash to bring in refugees from the most violent corner of the world — where a despotic government continues to wage war against civilians and numerous terrorist insurgency groups — Trudeau haphazardly exposed Canada to the dangers of unchecked immigration from a war zone.

Syria is a failed state, its government has no useful records and databases, making it virtually impossible to share crucial records about a migrant’s criminal backgrounds or affiliations with terrorist groups — they way we would screen those coming from other Western countries.

With an artificial timeline of just a few months, Canada had to rely on faith and goodwill in admitting refugees from this hotbed of terrorism and violence.

To sanitize the risk, Trudeau promised to prioritize at risk LGBT refugees but decided single hetrosexual men who were not accompanied by their family would not be admitted to Canada through this program.

Through this stipulation, Trudeau signalled there was reason to believe lone Syrian men could pose a threat to our public safety. But Ali seems to more or less fit this description. The latest reports state he’s a single man who came through a private sponsorship stream — with the same lax screening and vetting — along with members of his extended family. And he is alleged to have brought the brutish horrors of Syria to a safe neighbourhood in suburban Vancouver.

While Trudeau is not personally responsible for the death of a beautiful girl in Burnaby, nor should all Syrians or all refugees be held collectively responsible for one man’s alleged depravity, Trudeau’s government deserves scrutiny and criticism for its botched policies.
The refugee program was so mismanaged that important integration steps were also skipped in the interests of getting more refugees into Canada to meet Trudeau’s timeline.

As I reported exclusively in the Sun, one of those steps skipped was a “Welcome to Canada” integration course where refugees learn about life in Canada, including our laws and values.

It’s no wonder we’ve heard numerous reports of Syrian refugees failing to adapt to life in Canada — unable to find work, learn English or make friends in their new country.

Worse, reports of Syrian refugees committing violent crimes are becoming more common. Last year, I wrote about a Syrian man who beat his wife with a hockey stick for half an hour, sending her to hospital. The man’s excuse was that he didn’t know it was against the law to beat your wife in Canada. (Many Islamic countries permit, and some even encourage spousal abuse.)

Is it any surprise that a group of people unfamiliar with our laws, raised in a society that views women as objects and who were not subject to our regular immigration and security screenings are failing to integrate?

Trudeau’s Syrian refugee program has been troubled from day one. His policy has set countless migrants up for disappointment and failed to protect the safety and security of Canadians.

So what have we learned from Conil's cut and paste????

1. Trudeau and the Libs didn't pick this guy to bring into Canada. He was picked and investigated and screened by a reputable 3rd party NGO - the Red Cross, Amnesty International, etc - and they informed the feds that this guy had passed muster. So this ain't the Liberals' fault.

2. Ah but it is. Apparently attending a 45 minute course on "Canadian Values" would have made all the difference and changed this guy into a good citizen and it's Trudeau's fault for not insisting that he watch this important video. Ok..... THAT makes sense??????!!!!!!

You know what? I have a great idea. If we make ALL Canadians watch a video about "Canadian values", then we will have no more rapists, robbers and murderers in our entire country. Because the video is THAT DAMN GOOD - at least according to the Sun. It's weird though..... all Canadian kids learn ethics and values for 10 years in school and some of them are still rapists and murderers. And they're not even Muslim.

Of course, according to Butler it doesn't matter anyway since ALL Middle Eastern guys come from a "culture" of misogynist violence. (Which is odd, because the other million or so Muslims in Canada don't seem to murder little girls).

You know what???.... I think that this guy was a rapist and a murderer because he was a sick fuck and not because he was a Muslim or a Syrian. Just like all the other rapists and murderers are sick fucks.

The PMs primary responsibility is the safety & well being of Canadian citizens
That is the reason his job exists.
His government determined that 3rd party vetting was sufficient, when obviously it was not.
They do not get to pass the buck of responsibility here

Obviously these NGO's have an agenda to place people first.

And Trudeau lied about who they would accept.

So now are you saying we should no longer trust the UN NGO's? Ok. I'm good with that.

Cops say religious ideology played no part in the crime. Read it. Understand it. It's what they said. I didn't say it. The cops said it.

Culture of misogyny?.... What do you suggest? A Muslim ban? I'm betting the Muslim immigrant community in Canada has no higher sexual crime statistics than white guys. Go prove me wrong.

All those Pakistani IT guys you go have a barbecue with? Are they secret rapists too? Because they're Muslims?

the police and the media say the same thing for terror attacks even when the guy is on video screaming Allah ackabar I find it funny when a Muslim commits a crime for religious beliefs the government says its not all Muslims but anytime there is a shooting the government blames all gun owners.....

there is NO way the federal government did full security screening on those people not enough time and then when they arrived they feds admitted they didn't realize there were so many kids proof right there screening was not done

Has Prime Minister Trudeau said anything about this brutal murder yet? He was pretty quick with his condemnation when a girl falsely claimed her headscarf was cut by a non-existent "Asian man".

Guess there is no photo op here.

I recall when Justin rushed to set an example of his vision of the world and declared Canada would take 25,000 syrians. when other countries were very concerned about the risk
I recall there were stories of ISIS infiltrators and what a chaotic mess it was and how the UN had been overwhelmed
I warned the decision to rely on 3rd party vetting was a huge mistake, as was the rush to appear politically correct at the expense of common sense.
I warned that if even one of these newcomers to Canada harmed a Canadian citizen, Justin would have to take responsibility

Now a totally innocent young child suffered a terrifying death.
Choosing a leader because he has a famous last name was a horrendous mistake
Justin was not ready & never will be ready

the loss of a young life is absolutely tragic
A child losing her life because a fool wanted to make a political statement is absolutely unforgivable

Next. Trudeau will bring 250 White Helmets and their families to Canada. Some people, including that Pink Floyd guy, said they are a bunch of terrorists. Who to believe? Personally, I don't believe anyone from the Middle East and Russia. They all have an agenda.
