I was using an iPhone 4 for the last 4 years. Before that an iPhone 3. I have always purchased an used phone 1 or 2 years old off of CL. This time I figured Id spurge and get a top phone. So far the S9+ has been great. Way more customizable then my iPhone but my iPhones were much easier to use and better thought out. I am not a Samsung fanboy either but it is a sweet phone. What did you upgrade from? I have a S7 edge and not sure if I want to get the S9+ now or wait for the 10.
That's right.Has Google stopped with the Nexus and flip over to Pixel now?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planned_obsolescenceI use the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. I got hooked to the Xiaomi phones a few years ago after trying it for fun. I've been quite impressed with the battery life, being used to charge my phone twice a day with my old Galaxy S6, charging my Xiaomi 1 time every 2-3 days was a refreshing experience.
They are chinese phones though and even though they're the best phones I've tried, they still have their downsides and a limited lifespan (18-24 months seems to be their usual life)
Sister got this one at the persistence of my brother and she LOVES IT.My phone is getting outdated... I want more than 32GB and NO iphones! I buy my phones upright too. Can anyone convince me on which phone to buy? It also need to have a bigger screen than the Nexus 6P.
I had a quick look at the specs and this phone is impressive for a mid-range phone at it's price point. It looks like they are saving the $$$ on the less capable CPU and more notably the display. After having an OLED display I couldn't go back to an IPS panel. Samsung displays are the best of the best right now - they also make the panel in the iPhone X. If you're not picky about that and are OK with not having a bleeding edge processor and less RAM, this phone looks like a bargain. I couldn't find anything about it being waterproof though.Sister got this one at the persistence of my brother and she LOVES IT.

Nokia really got this right with almost everything. You'll get important updates from Android since it's "AndroidOne", no bloatware, nice big screen AAAAAAND expandable memory.
Price exactly where all these so called "flagships" should be priced. I gotta admit, it's very nice.
I just got the Pixel 2xl. Stock android is beautiful and you have to love the camera (arguably the best out there)
