Seriously?
Millennials will get upset over anything nowadays.
I'm triggered. Where's my safe space?

If you've never played sports, if you've never been in a locker room, you wouldn't understand..

But this is the me-too generation. You can't even make a joke without someone getting offended, so maybe things have changed..

The only joke was Gruber. He's a jerk.

Wasn't he an asshole even back in the day? I have some vague recollection of him being a drunk or something.

It looks like he’s had too much to drink. He comes off like an asshole.

I think this is a bit of an over reaction. If you have seen the video, she initiates the "ribbing" and Kelly jumped right in thinking it is going to be fun and played along. Her opening words were "Come on down you're the next contestant on the Price is Right". Kelly responds "cause you gotta have me right?" Kelly's response was actually making fun of himself. To which she responds "they want you" in a tone that was disrespectful to Kelly. Kelly responds "but you don't", in a tone that he has taken that she doesn't want him to be there. That was an opening for her to change her attitude and mend the relationship with Kelly, but she dropped the ball. Kelly follows it up by asking the audience if they want her there and again, she missed an opportunity to get the interview on the right track.

Kelly does get a good one in towards Kevin Barker, who replaced Greg Zaun on the the Sportsnet show. Barker, instead of playing along, came across as a dumb founded asshole.

Kelly, who may have had a few pops, was joking around and the girl and Barker did not have the skill as interviewers to use his joking as a way of turning things around.

Too bad as the fans there probably wanted to hear some stories about the Shaker from Kelly first hand. Had either one of those interviewers had any skill as an interviewer, they would have gained control and put on a show for the fans. Instead, they both melted and waited for the SJW's to bail them out.

Nice mansplainin'...

There was hostility in his voice, you can hear it. I thought they had a run-in earlier in the green room and it carried over to the interview. She seemed to already be chilly to him before he even arrived. But then you could hear the biting tone in his voice, not the "we're having fun" kinda tone. Then the textbook "This is what we do it Texas" bullshit to try and excuse his rude behaviour.

He was an asshole and deserved to be called out on it.

Wow. That is a pretty lame explanation. I am a sports fanatic but I don't understand why guys think they can just act like assholes and not be called out on it.

Gruber should have known better, especially in the current climate. He threw himself under the bus.

If her or Barker had an ounce of professionalism they would have easily diffused the situation but they are rank amateurs who had no idea how to manage when an interview goes sideways. It could have been saved and the people/fans would have enjoyed the evening, but those two blew it.

Yes. He's been a jerk all his life. I remember seeing him in Mississauga he was driving one of the Blue Jays Honda Accord's. We both were at a gas station and I asked him for a quick autograph on my baseball cap and he basically ignored me.

Apparently it was with another female staff member, not Ashley.

Looked like a cringy fail on everyone's art. Gruber trying to be witty, the host oversensitive, Barker a deer in headlights.
