He was looking good in spring training but got injured. On the DL to start the season, along with Pompey and Tulo.Where's Anthony Alford? I was expecting him to make the team this year.

Donaldson looks like he's playing with an injured shoulder. Not looking good
I know that many here are pessimistic, however aside from their pitching, hitting and defense I thought they looked pretty good.
JD's shoulder definitely looking fucked.
Jays slowly bleeding runs, unable to get anything going against Severino.
I read that today. Shapeero trying to keep Rogers' pockets lined by making money at both ends.Jays are allegedly in bed with scalpers: https://www.thestar.com/news/investigations/2018/03/29/jays-get-a-cut-from-online-scalpers.html
This is really a non-Jays story, MLB has blanket agreements in place with several of these ticket sites, and all but 3 clubs are a part of it.Jays are allegedly in bed with scalpers: https://www.thestar.com/news/investigations/2018/03/29/jays-get-a-cut-from-online-scalpers.html

Only the Cubs, Yankees, and Angels opted out of the deal to pursue their own arrangements to get an even bigger slice of the pie.

I disagree. There have been a number of posts analyzing those trades in 2015 and where those prospects have ended up. Pretty much all of them are mediocre players.The way the Jays looked on their home opener, scalpers are going to be left holding their balls. Shapeyero knew what he was getting into, Alex Anthopolous traded away 70% for runs that fell short. The Tulo deal is starting to reek right about now.

Focus is on prospects only, not major league talent that was traded.
For Tulo and Hawkins, they let go:
* Jeff Hoffman - Sub .500 pitcher, 5 plus ERA
* Jesus Tinoco - Sub .500 pitcher, 4 plus ERA
* Miguel Castro - Sub .500 pitcher, 4 plus ERA, Now with Baltimore.
* Jose Reyes
For Price:
* Daniel Norris - .500 pitcher, 4 plus ERA
* Matt Boyd - Sub .500 pitcher, 5 plus ERA
* Jairo Labourt - less than in inning pitched. Still in the minors, little hope of hitting the big leagues.
For Mark Lowe:
* Jake Brentz - Sub .500 pitcher, 4 plus ERA
* Nick Wells - Sub .500 pitcher, 5 plus ERA
* Rob Rasmussen - 2-1 record, 7 plus ERA, looks like he is out of baseball
For Ben Revere:
* Jimmy Cordero - Sub .500 pitcher, 4 plus ERA
* Alberto Tirado - plus .500 record, 3.47 ERA - All in the minor leagues
For Cliff Pennington:
* Dawel Lugo - minor league short stop, small chance to make the show
I am comfortable in stating that this group of players would not have made any impact on the future of the organization, whereas the stars they were traded for did.
Baseball prospects are like a batting average. If 25 - 30% pan out, then you have an excellent scouting staff.
Teams know when they have a can't miss and will hold on to those players (most times). But for those fringe players, if you can get some proven major league talent for them that will put you in a position to win it all, then it is wise to go for it.
I wasn't sure but I thought I'd heard on TV that they were AA guys. Damn fake news. Does Breitbart have a sports section?Bichette was a Shapiro draft pick.
Pitchers on the rise: Nate Pearson and TJ Zeuch , both college picks by Shatkins
