I concede that you'd hide under the bed if ever confronted by a burglar :biggrin1:

I can see why you've never been married, shack. Most women want to feel protected by their SO.
They dont want some guy who can't take care of them
More mocking. Nothing factual. You have given up the debate. You have conceded that you cannot defend your position.

Not only are you incapable of a rational, reasoned debate, you know fuck-all about me. I have two kids, and not even out of wedlock.

The worst thing anybody could do is listen to a Rambo fantasizing, NON-gun owner like Phil give advice on the use of guns
Whats this?? I happen to have some cartridges left at home.
I'd show you my hunting rifle as well, but thats at the cottage right now.

Or is this the part where you say its photoshopped??
I just love owning you, it never gets old honeybun :applouse:

Doesn’t matter - your advice is still hopelessly bad and just shows that you need to get out more and spend less time fantasizing. The legal ramifications of shooting anybody, even in self defence, far outweigh the very slim probability that you couldn’t get out of a bad situation with non-lethal means.

Seriously, you’ve said you’re a shut-in but put cartridges away and turn off your computer. Put the Rockford File tapes away, take $210 ($160 plus tip) and go to Pure. See if your pop-gun still works. Blast the rust out of your 4 inch, wrinkled old barrel. It will do you a world of good.

It does matter because it proves you were wrong (again)

Not if the burglar is armed with a weapon

I think its almost bedtime for you, sweetiepie. Tonight's another hard shift of work driving around those bait & switch Asian escort girls.
What does an agency pay drivers these days?? Its gotta be at least minimum wage now, right??! :encouragement:

He is not, unless you are a drug dealer or part of a gang. Regular burglars in Ontario are not armed.

If you want a gun-fight sign up for service in Syria.

An armed cop at the school sure didn't act as a deterrent.
People protect their own property and lives more than the lives and property of others.

Just like RIDE PROGRAMS don't act as a deterrent for people who wish to drink and drive . Even with out the ride programs people are still drinking and driving causing accidents and killing people .

So what's your point .
The point is if trained, armed people aren't a deterrent then all the NRA arguments about needing a deterrent are garbage.

Of course a mentally ill person set on murder isn't going to care about who else is armed so arming teachers will do nothing except cause more problems like that nut in Georgia.

...

Why are you so afraid of using these car analogies ....
Why are you?

Cars are registered, drivers are tested and subject to an age limit, doctors can remove your license for medical reasons, and we are required to have insurance for accidents. I think many people would be quite happy if those same standards applied to guns in the US.

Here's a solution shack, if you're so scared that a burglar might shoot at you, then just dont own a gun and leave the gun ownership to those who arent terrified to hold a gun in their hands when confronted by a burglar.

Simple solution, isnt it?!
I believe Canadian law isn't on your side here. Unless I am mistaken, Canadian law only allows a self defense argument to be made if your person is under direct threat. Shooting a burglar who was downstairs grabbing your TV is a criminal act. If you want to sit in your bathroom, clutching your gun under the assumption that any noise in your house is someone intent on murdering you then go ahead. And I'm sure the gun safe makes for beautiful bedroom décor.

BTW. Schools policies seems to be the exact same as a safe room - lock the door, and move the kids away from the windows. I have yet to hear of a case where a school shooter broke down a locked door to kill people in the classroom.

Exactly. Not to mention the hundreds of pages of specific must do and must never dos that cover everything from how the car is made and equipped to where you get to take it and how. Not a perfect system, but it keeps most of us mostly safe, without 'responsible drivers' getting their shorts wet and knotted about their 'rights', or bragging 'we keep America safe'. And mass car-killings are still rarer than the gun ones, in spite of how common cars are and how easy it is to bring them near crowds.

Not to mention the cheap-ass Chinese ammunition.
Nasty, you're a self-professed and proud geriatric shut-in... you would think you would have the time to research some decent manufacturers.
Or does momma have you on a WiFi password ration? Gotta prioritize your small-hand porn and breitbart feeds above all else, right Champ?

Most of the time in Canada thats true. But we're talking about the US remember, there things are much worse.
125,000 armed robberies in 2016 alone, that includes homes, gas stations, grocery stores, banks....etc.

https://www.statista.com/statistics/251914/number-of-robberies-in-the-us-by-weapon/

If I lived or worked in a corner store in the US I'd want a gun on me. Thats why I support the 2A

If you followed the thread properly you'd know that I dont think I need a gun next to me while living in Canada.
I said if I lived in the US I would want a gun.

Try to keep up please

Allright I'll bite, honeybun :biggrin1:

What would you consider a small hand, a medium hand or a large hand for a man??
Tell me from beginning of the palm to the end of the middle index finger.
And then tell me width from end of thumb to the other side of the hand.

In centimetres, not retarded inches
