I watched the pilot, but I wasn't that interested. As much as I like Ed Harris, Yul Brenner is irreplaceable. That's where my skepticism lay.
Christopher Nolan directed and wrote Dunkirk himself. Which raised the question: what happened to Jonathan Nolan? I Googled the question and was told that JN is the creator and writer of Westworld - so I started watching the show again. It was probably time for the Nolan brothers to part ways, their last two collaborations were somewhat messy. Obviously the split was amicable since the rights to Westworld are owned by the Nolan Family production company Bad Robot. So far the show is building, much like The Wire. The relationship between Dolores (Even Rachel Wood) and Bernard Lowe (Jeffrey Wright) is keeping me interested. Neither of these fine actors has given a bad performance. And it's only a matter of time before The Man in Black starts picking off some of the cheese eating humans who go to Westworld just to kill.
