You were the one that was "blabbing" about wanting to shut the Government down "awhile". This is a Congressional matter and the President is ultimately responsible for it. No wonder he has gone into a "hide and tweet" protection as obviously he does not know how to responsibly deal with this whole scenario. This DACA situation again is just not about illegal immigrants as the Trumptard Cult Followers would like to believe. it is about these Dreamers that are supported by Governors, Senators and the law Enforcement nation wide. When Lindsay, Collins and Flake the three Republicans want McConnell to categorically address this situation then they might as well do so, get that dummy Trump to sign off, and get the Government back and running.
"This is a Congressional matter and the President is ultimately responsible for it"- how can anyone have a substantial conversation after reading this statement? How about this one- me smart Trump stupid. Instead of trying to debate just write that every time.

You definitely failed to hear Trump categorically make that statement when he was critical of Obama during his time in office. So why are you trying to make excuses for him now!!!

Read this article and then learn that this guy that you worship either does not have a clue as to what he is saying when interviewed, he is suffering from dementia or is blatantly lying. What do you think it is??

I'm not the POTUS. HE doesn't know how it works!
True. He doesnt know. That's a given. But intelligent people do. So when people say it's all his fault when in fact it is both parties at the congressional level who share a good portion of the responsibility then really the person making the original statement is as dumb as Trump.

We are all in this forum(well most) because we enjoy politics and stretching our minds. Some are pure partisan digging for anything.

Lots of fault to go around.

But a weekend shutdown? So little effect that really it only exposed a few politicians to some hits. The greater public is shaking their heads at much ado over nothing.

Even if he's stupid its still his job.
At the very least he made it much much harder.

At the last retreat for the Gop leaders this was all mapped out I'm betting. With Trump now playing the role of the crazy top guy who McConnel says we have to work around.

Trump is no doubt ignorant of procedure in govt. Big time. I'm also betting he isn't the first President in History to be that way. Previous presidents surrounded themselves with those who did. He didn't at first. But now he has.

I expect this year his administration will be underestimated by the Dems. I think some keener minds than Trump have figured out how to use him. And he is on board.
