maybe you are - it should not be uncomfortable for you or your partner, if she is gagging a lot then she is not experienced at DT or is unable to control the gag reflex. It takes time and practice to control it and some ladies never seem able control it or are perhaps unwilling to practice enough to do so.

maybe try over the edge position and dont force it too quickly - should be able to slide in all the way without forcing.
