I agree, were the Jays really ever WS contenders??
1-If, 2 years ago, the Texas Rangers do not make those 3 consecutive errors , the Jays are eliminated from the playoffs. Jays had horse shoes up their butts that night.
2 If , last year , Buck Showalter does not have a brain fart and brings in Zach Britton , very good chance the O's win the wild card game. Jays had horse shoes up their butts that night.

If the Jays didn't blow the first two games of the 2015 ALDS because they were too tight, they would have won it in 3, instead of 5. They were clearly the more talented team that year. And Zach Britton? You still got to hit it, to win.
I wonder if Pillar's gay slur comment has really affected him or is he just reverting to the player he really is. Batting average has dropped almost 60 points since the incident (.305 to .246) and his play in the field has been far from the "Superman" people have identified him with.

Osuna just became the youngest player ever to reach 75 career saves. He has 18 in a row since he blew 2 way back. Have to figure his pre season injury made him not so sharp for the start of the season.

Not if I'm the GM. I understand he's had lots of injury problems, but it's impossible to say if that will keep happening.
This kid is a very humble kid with a great attitude. If I'm the GM, he gets a long leash with me.

There was no new damage to Travis's knee, just particulates. He consistently hits doubles, no other player does that. Pillar has to ramp up his offensive numbers otherwise he's just the interim until Anthony Alford is ready.
