I hope GS sweeps. Maybe not but I think they should win!. Last year was a fluke. Curry was playing injured. Draymond got stupid(mind you that could happen again) and Barnes who couldn't hit the side of a barn in the finals has been replaced with Durant.
First game Cavs had TO's but that's because of golden state defence. Thompson went cold, and that won't happen every game either. Matchups favour GS. They should win in 5 or less. I'll give the Cavs 2 wins max with some luck.
I don't go with all this GS is the better team but Lebron is the best player. Don't discount how good Durant is .

GS wins both home games and looked real good doing it. Cleveland will have to pick it up when they return home or there won't be a game 5.

Tuff for the Cavs when the Warriors can upgrade their bench in the middle of the Finals for the stretch run! Coach Kerr for president!

Funny how one of Lebron's legacy ( one of many ) is if you can't beat them create a super Team. , This legacy he created may come back and bite him in the ass. To think how many titles Jordan could have had if he gave up and joined the bad boy Pistons .

Every time I see KD ... I shake my head and say wow you joined a 73 win team to get your ring and somehow you think you have accomplished something . . Watch last year's Final and this Warriors was so close to beating Lebron and something tells me they could win a title without Durant .

I don't care who win at all, both teams have won in recent years. Both teams are cocky lol. Golden State got greedy by getting Kevin Durant last summer. It look like Golden State will sweep the Cavs. There are so many all stars players in the Golden State team. Lebron James can not stop all of them. How many more years can Lebron James will be in the NBA Finals again. NBA Playoffs is so predictable,

The NHL PLAYOFFS is much better than NBA Playoffs.

Having Durant makes a sweep possible. Cleveland had a chance against GS without Durant. Funny how Lebron keeps harping about his triple doubles and how could he be tired? Well he might just be a little gassed by the end of the 4th quarter?? Missed shots, and not getting one off over Iguadala might just be a little fatigue in the legs. He missed a shot or two as well, where he seemed perfect early in the game. Of course you can be tired.
I don't have a that much of a problem with Durant going to Golden State. He was in fact underrated at Oklahoma. Its never a great thing to see a star leave but guys are moving to teams for championships all the time. He's one player that got courted at the end of his contract and he left to win championships. It happens all the time. He was also stuck with a ball hog at his previous team. I have more of a problem when players get together and put their super team together like Lebron, Wade and Bosh did.
JR Smith finally hits a couple of shots and all of a sudden he's goofing off acting like the rifleman with 2 minutes left in the game(and they lose) Anyone can hit 2 or 3 shots in a game.
I don't find Golden State anywhere near as cocky as Cleveland. If you're sweeping every team, you're gonna get a little cocky, but Cleveland players are over the top........ I have noticed they've been much more humble the last 3 games. :)

Golden State Players are cocky too, I am not fan of golden state at all. Golden State just seems to get greedy with having lots of all star players. Kevin Durant ditched Oklahoma City to go a team that can win a championship.

Can somebody explain why the Cavs role players looked like HOF''ers and shooting the lights out but against the Warriors they are throwing up bricks .. I guess the Cav players are getting a taste of how Raptor fans and players felt .... Helpless

Do you think Jordan ever thought after losing to the Pistons ... I want a ring ... Let's sign in Detroit this summer .ĺ

The Warriors are the best super team of all time but let's never call them the best ...Whar is stopping the Warriors
From being called the Best of all time ... Nobody on the Warriors could have stopped a centre like Shaq .

It's kind of sad that such a dominant team like the Cavs who completely dismantled and embarrassed the top teams in the East like the Raptors and Celtics need to resort to signing another superstar like Westbrook, Anthony Davis or Kawhi just to avoid getting swept again in the finals next year by Golden State.

There is absolutely no parity in the NBA. The talent gap between the Cavs and the rest of the Eastern Conference is huge, and the talent gap between the Warriors and Cavs is also huge. There's no point in playing an 82 game season when nobody in the East can get past Lebron, and when Lebron can't get past KD, Curry and Klay. It will be whichever Eastern Conference team Lebron is on vs. Golden State in the finals for at least the next 5 years.

I'd have no problem with Golden State if they became such a great team organically through the draft. They drafted Curry, Klay and Draymond Green, so it was incredible to see them win 73 games last year, and the finals the past 2 years between GS and the Cavs were close and entertaining, especially last year's series that went to 7 games. They didn't need to add Kevin Durant to one of the best teams in NBA history, it's just overkill, and just makes the whole season and playoffs pointless, nobody can compete with them and they're about to be the first team in pro sports history to sweep their way to a championship. Fans want to see competition, it's not fun when everyone knows who's going to win the championship before the season even begins.

Wlcome back to the 90's! This is the new argument in sports doing a what goes around comes around! Remember the 90's and everyone was either going wild over the Bulls, Yankees or Cowboys or crying for parity. Well parity mostly won and sports went that route. That gave us some excitement locally in some markets for a couple of years at a time but somehow interest flagged again with parity. Now we are entrenched in parity (and I find that synonymous with monotonous) but BBall and Baseball have luxury taxes and now owners with dough recognize spend some and you'll win!

GSW are the exception nowadays, and as JD stated above, given the fact that their lineup is homegrown, one has to just admire that team and revel in the glory of a dynasty. KD wasn't a necessity but they got him cuz they could and that's where it's all at. I like dynasties as they tend to make every team better if they are serious about contending. I recognize that Cleveland is homegrown too a bit but until their owner reupped over the luxury tax to satisfy Lebron they weren't this good. Owners nowadays are all bottom liners and won't spend to win like the Steinbrenneres of the past. Show me the money?!? Anyhoo congrats to the Warriors and get ready for the Lakers to spend and get LBJ to Tinseltown next year!

How this back to the 90's. The Chicago Bulls did not face the same team in the NBA Finals , there played five different teams in the Finals, There only face Utah Jazz twice in the finals.

I am not fan of Golden State at all. NBA has become a joke , it is easy predicted who will be in the finals again. Low seeded teams can not stand chance with these two teams. We all know who going to finals next year again and the year after. NHL is way better than the NBA, In the NHL playoffs everyone can win the championship , even 8th seeded team can go to the finals . The Nashville Predators are a 8th seeded team and is currently in the Stanley Cup Finals.

True and those weren't number one pics either. Don't forger Golden State was a joke like the Clippers forever. The Durant signing was the only really questionable move. Iguodala has been least talked about. He was a franchise player in Philly, one the Raptors passed on for Arujo I think.

I watched all the Bulls games in the Jordan era. I don't know how many games they trailed but it was a very high percentage in the earlier years. But I knew that as long as they were withing 20 points by the end of the 3rd quarter, the Bulls were in reach and much more often than not, they went to Michael time after time after time in that 4th quarter he would will them to victory. In the early years he just kept attacking the basket too, getting hammered each time. But he would win that game.
When faced with only a 5 point deficit heading into the 4th quarter, Lebron showed he could got to the basket at will. He even has Irving that could make a few trips as well. But he pulled up for jump shots a few times and gave up the ball. He just doesn't have the same GOAT killer instinct.
Michael still leads the race for GOAT.

No argument from me!
MJ the greatest in my eyes!
MJ had the respect of his piers and fans .. Durrant may have a ring but his legacy will be
a HOF who in his prime took the easiest way to a Championship ..Everyone in this generation wants to be like Mike but want to create supper teams to catch Mike ..
