Rangers blew that one late, they had it in the bag and caved in defensively. It will come back to haunt them.
Not that I am so prescient, but as soon as Nash got his stick lifted at centre ice on that power play I did not like it.

Leafs show that they can compete with Washington. A lucky bounce in game 1 the Leafs could easily be up 2-0.

Hell yeah!

Took Washing to OT in GM 1, and to double OT in GM 2.
No matter what happens now, the Leafs have proven they belong in these playoffs.

Just like the Oilers, they responded perfectly to a Game 1 loss.
Well said. The young Leafs has proven to me while I watched how did they clinch the playoffs by winning over last year's champion Penguins in life at ACC. The Penguins did not give the win to the Leafs. The young Leafs earned that game by their row talents. I was so impressed by the young Leafs. It was fun. Now, the young Leafs has impressed me even further by last night's game that they do know how to win the game in overtime=A+.

Extremely focus on the puck!!! There is only one puck or one ball in the NBA!

Go Leafs Go!

Good for the Leafs last night.

The Flames need to take both games at home. I think they can, but they really need to break the stat line with regards to playing in Anaheim.

WTF is with the Blackhawks? This reminds me of the series a few years back when Seabrook went to Toews, who was in the penalty box, and said something to him, which turned the series around for them. A split in Nashville will do and it's obvious they have to at least do that, but winning both would go a long way in turning their fortunes around.

The Hawks have the ability to take 2 from Nashville. In fact they can win 4 straight no problem.

I loved it, what a game. I picked TML to win in our friends and family pool... in seven games. I think I'm the only one who picked them and what the hell, in case they win I thought I'd document it here.

Go Leafs!

Huge comeback game by Anaheim.

They and Nashville now up 3-0 in each series, wow.

It doesn't appear as if the Flames know how to get a win in the playoffs.

The Blackhawks don't seem to have an answer for Nashville's physical game either.

Could these be two series that could be sweeps? I know it's the toughest thing to do to win that 4th game in the playoffs, but both Calgary and Chicago don't look like they can get the job done. Surprising for the Hawks, as they've been down this road before. Not too many teams bounce back from 3-0 deficit, but when it does happen, these series turn into something to watch. Wasn't it LA and the Sharks that this happened to a few years back?

I would love the Preds go deep in the playoffs and win the Stanley Cup, My 2017 Stanley Cup Finals prediction is Pittsburgh Penguins vs Nashville Predators.

What huge come back, The Flames can not play Playoff hockey at all, there deserved to get swept.

Yes LA was down 3-0 to SJ but came back to win 4 straight and won the cup that year in 2014.

As always, great performance by Martina Ortiz-Luis tonight but when she let the crowd take over, it made me wish I was there to gain first hand experience of the atmosphere in the Air Canada Centre.

San Jose Sharks deserve to win a Stanley Cup, this team always make the playoffs. Joe Pavelski, Patrick Marleau, Brent Burns and Joe Thornton are hardworking Veteran players.

I am shocked that the Flames couldn't even come up with a win. Goal tending is as key as scoring and when your goalie lets in some pretty soft goals from questionable angles. That's just deflating.

You choose Toronto to win over Washington , haha.
Toronto has no chance to beat Washington at all.
Washington Capitals had won the Presidents' Trophy for the past two seasons.

Teams do not deserve to win just because they always make the playoffs or have hard working veterans. Teams win the Stanley Cup because they are the better team and in some cases have good luck (you know the saying, good luck seems to follow good teams?). If you said you would like them to win because they always make the playoffs and have hard working veterans then that is a different story.

Obviously, San Jose hasn't been good enough or had enough good luck to win the Stanley Cup. Maybe this year but they will have to take two in a row against a good Edmonton team.

Sort of like me saying, the TML's deserve to win the Stanley Cup because they have the most loyal fans in the NHL. While I would love to see them win it all this year, I think they are missing at least a couple of players and the overall experience to do so this year. But within 2 to 3 years, I see winning the Cup as a distinct possibility.

The Oilers were fantastic in OT last night. They absolutely came in waves until finally Jones let one past.

Can't believe the Flames and Hawks both swept. Every first round has an upset, its safe to say Nashville qualifies there.
So it's wild open for the Leafs to take it all now.

Hawks, Sharks, Habs, Blue Jackets, Wild, Flames are gone. Leafs, Sens, Caps and Bruins still alive. So far no game 7's in the first round.
