If you know anything about hockey, this is not the first time a team has blown a lead in the 7th. game of the playoffs. Several were a result of losing defensive zone faceoffs. Toronto was missing Bozak who's always in the top 10 faceoff percentage. With him in the lineup, Toronto would have beaten Boston. It's that simple but I don't expect you to understand.

Have fun watching The losers Leafs will get swept by the Caps. The Leafs have no chances of winning any games at all.

Rookies don't belong in the Playoffs, Washington Capitals has lot of playoff experiences and it a elite team.
What a completely ridiculous comment. In case you haven't noticed, the Leafs are improving through the draft, which means they have some rookies. And some really good ones. Nobody expects them to beat Washington but at least they're finally heading in the right direction. The experience will do them good.

The fact they went from dead last a year ago to making the playoffs is a real achievement. 28 teams beside the Leafs won't win the cup this year either. Remind me, what year did Washington win the cup?

Kyle, "not accomplish nothing at all" means that they have accomplished quite a bit and proves you now worship them. "There barley" refers to beer, because barley makes hops and hops make beer. So it means you want to congratulate the Leafs by buying them all beer. Which is very gracious of you. It shows how much you regret your earlier hostility to them and now wish to make up for it with extreme generosity and kindness.

This is a great time to be TO sports fan, Raptors in the playoff, baseball starting, weather's getting warm up, and above all, THE LEAFS ARE IN THE PLAYOFFS.

For icing on the cake we have Kyle sacrificing himself to come on here so we can take turn to abuse him. What more can we ask for ? :bump2:

Too many people feeding the troll. No matter what you say he will continue spewing the same trash. Please do not respond to his drivel. Even though this is the sports forum, maurice had it right trying to talk about an MPA instead.

Better that we talk among ourselves. We usually have more relevant things to talk about.

bruin fan here. wow that kyle fella really has a hard on for the leafs. did he state which team he follows? lets be honest, leafs are in tough, but i think game 1 goes into ot, anything can happen. i just see caps taking liberties with marner, nyland, matthews, they are going to have to stand tall.

Troll is a Laine lover, their dicks are tied together in Winnipeg. It's was suppose to be Winnipeg's year to be in the playoffs, I mean they are further ahead of the Leafs in terms of development but they failed That's why the hate and jealousy towards Toronto.

This is how Nylander creates time and space. He takes the puck and goes deep forcing the defense back. Then he quickly circles back into the open ice that he just created.

Andersen goes down too soon and Wilson rips it over his shoulder for the game winner.

The goal that tied it was unfortunate. Don't know how he lost sight of the puck. Shot was along the ice but he looked straight up into the air afterwards.

The Leafs held their own against the high powered CAPS, only losing in OT. Everyone expected a convincing win like 4-1 or an blow out 6-1 by the CAPS.

I'm of the belief that this series will only go 5 games, with a the Caps taking the series. The Leafs had a good showing lat night, but I don't think they'll be able to sustain this.

This young Leaf team has a poor record of protecting leads an scoring in OT.

Justin Williams is amazing! I remember him from Carolina and LA.

The young Leafs will learn eventually. To be able to win this series, the young Leafs have to do more into the details when it comes to the defense. It's not easy... I am very pleased by the young Leafs performance last night. They had the energy, the drive, the skills, the game plan. When it comes to the defense, the little instincts will play very big roll and those instincts will only come with the experiences. If the Leafs keep on playing the way they played last night, I would keep my fingers still crossed. The Leafs need extremely focus on the puck... There is only one puck or on ball in NBA.

Go Leafs Go!
